What's the problem with a seller who fails to provide basic instructions? This is for a specific model of iPad, and while you can find videos on YouTube, finding one for the exact model I have was difficult, and the adhesive barely stayed adhered. And, yes, I removed all of the old adhesive and double-checked that the surfaces were clean. I have to constantly push the screen back on the iPad in order for it to stay in place. This is a terrible product.
It's great that I didn't have to remove the broken screen's old home button, but the poor adhesion and subsequent ghost touching make this a poor product. I used to do professional iPad and iPhone repairs, and this would not have passed our quality standards. Making repairs on these screens would have cost me money. Thankfully, this is just for my iPad.
This is a piece of garbage. I didn't get a digitizer in the mail. I got a screen cover that was cracked. The home button was no longer functional. When I tried to plug the screen into my working digitizer, it would not light up. I'm not sure what kind of garbage they're selling, but this was broken and half of the parts (the digitizer) were missing. Make a financial plan.
This product is excellent and at a good price. I saved easily 85% of total cost by not going to some who would easily charge $130 (fast install if you have a heat% ) I would choose this product over any other, and my Ipad A1445 model was no exception. This was my first of two visits in a row. From start to finish, the installation will take approximately 5 hours.
It looks good, but I had to add 700 to the bottom right corner because it wouldn't stick. br>Other than that, it looks good. br>I was told it looked good by friends. That would like me to make some changes to some of theirs.
For a few months, maybe 20 hours of use, it worked well. When the screen was not being touched, it began to act as if it had been touched. When ghost touches are active, it is impossible to log in with a password.
Arrived a day early with all of the necessary equipment. Yes, the adhesive could be better, but for the price, you should be able to get some extra. There are no instructions, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you along the way. Given the cost of this from the Apple Store, there are no complaints here.
My son was overjoyed that I was able to repair his iPad after he had a meltdown. It didn't come with instructions, so I looked up a good YouTube video and followed it. This was my first time, but I'm fairly handy, so it took a while because I was afraid of breaking it.
