I realized how difficult it would be, but I decided to give it a try and hope for the best; this was the FIRST time I had ever replaced a window myself! Although the instructions are simple, the photographs are excellent. These instructions were combined with a few YouTube videos that I was studying. The tools are well-made, with sharp, thin beveled edges that glided easily between the glass and the frame. A guitar pick is used to keep sections of the glass elevated and prevent it from reattaching as you go. The included screwdriver has a magnetic tip, making it much easier to screw in the small LCD screen. I used my own small flat head screwdriver to unlock the LCD connector's lock. The other tools were too thick to open it. br>br>The glass is in good condition. It was kept in a special plastic tray, and the glass was protected on both sides with a screen protector. I read other reviews that said the adhesive wasn't up to par, but I haven't had any problems with it. The film on top of the adhesive was difficult to remove because it was difficult to see. The beveled frame fit the iPad well, but I did notice that the cutout for the home screen button was large and off to the right, as if it had been cut incorrectly and the manufacturer had cut more to compensate. It makes no difference because you can't see it and it has no effect on the performance. The glass was pushed right into the frame, and the adhesive held up well. I turned it on right away, hoping I had done everything correctly, and I was ecstatic to have completed the task! For beginners, this was the ideal complete assembly set! The factory digitixer on my son's iPad worked flawlessly for more than two years while being protected by an Outer Box waterproof case. Someone finally broke the screen by stepping on it directly. I bought it and set it up myself. The installation was difficult, owing to the fact that the old screen was completely shattered. This one went in fairly easily after the old one was removed. My son brought it to me after a month, saying he dropped it off his bed on the carpet and the digitizer cracked again. I got a new one and it was a breeze to install it. The most recent one, too, only lasted a few months before cracking again. After months of cracking, it's finally time to replace. The glass does not appear to be as durable as factory glass, in my opinion.

This digitizer screen was made to fit the iPad for which I purchased it. Because my device is old, there are no more iOS updates available for it, so it's a bit of a waste of money. Nonetheless, this was an excellent purchase for the money. br>It was simple to set up (thanks to a few YouTube videos I watched). Because the original screen was shattered, the most difficult part is removing the small pieces without cutting yourself.

I purchased another brand two years ago, and I must admit that the major benefit is:
- The tape has been pre-cut. As a result, it's a lot easier to work with.
- pre-installed camera and home key There was no problem reinstalling it.
- One tool was missing, and another was doubled; I wish it had been there, and this is why they are losing a star. br>However, I did not contact them for a replacement because I wanted to move forward with the replacement. br>It took me 40 minutes to change, but the main benefit for me was that my previous screen had come loose and the connector had broken. br>It's a little more expensive than what I saw on Amazon, but the tools are of good quality and, if the set is complete, are appropriate for the job.

Having a two-year-old daughter We go through a lot of Digitizers because the twins are playing with the iPad. Dropping or stepping on our iPad 2 is a common occurrence. Lol : )br>br>Of course, there are a lot of digitizers out there. I preferred the Prime option for getting it quickly, so I chose this one - In fact, I placed an order for two of them. br>br>In my life, I've had far too many digitizers - iPhones, iPads, Android devices, and a variety of tablets are all supported. This one went in without a hitch, and I didn't break anything in the process. As long as it's done correctly. I liked the package that came with this item a lot - The vast majority of the products are excellent. br>br>It works without a hitch.

This item is in perfect working order. If you don't have a lot of patience, this DIY may not be for you. It took me about 3 hours to complete the process, which I spread out over three days. The most difficult part was removing the old screen, but it was as simple as watching a YouTube video after that. After I finished, the first thing I did was go out and buy a protective case for both of my iPads so I wouldn't have to go through this again. The only reason I deducted a star was because the tools could have been a little more effective. The video I was watching appeared to have better tools for the job, but it's possible that this wasn't his first time replacing a screen, so take it for what it's worth.

I ordered three of these digitizers for three iPad 2 Model 1395s, and they all worked and fit perfectly; there were no installation issues, and all of the tools that came with them were useful and a great addition to my existing set. For a long time, I've been repairing/replacing broken/cracked screens for family and friends, and I'm happy with the results. Screens come with instructions for replacing them, but if this is your first time, be careful with the WiFi antenna and the audio ribbon cable. The on/off buttons, as well as the area around the camera, are all to be avoided. The fact that these screens came with the pre-installed software is particularly appealing to me. As for the bezel, it was installed with adhesive. The camera bracket and the home button were also included, and they were perfectly aligned.
