No, I wasn't able to use it at all.
Oem or this screen does not reach the logo part; instead, it is just beneath it.
The LCD is not a digitizer. It's the part of the device that communicates with the software via touch. This product will not work if your LCD is broken, but if your surface glass and digitizer are broken, it is a fantastic product.

My wife's Galaxy was in a soft case when it fell from her nightstand and collided with a corner. The glass was shattered. I've replaced a few screens on phones and an older version of this table, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with this. br>br>This kit includes a lot of tools, a Digitizer screen, and no instructions other than to look up a video on YouTube to show you how to do it. Because I couldn't get the plastic case to separate from the frame with the included guitar pick or other tools, I ended up using a box cutter to begin the separation. I was able to run the rest of the way around with the pick once I finally got it started. To remove the case, you'll need a metal tool. br>br>As a result of the falling price of oil, The screen was easy to remove from the adhesive after breaking it; I did disconnect the battery cable on the backside before releasing the screen cable to ensure the device's safety. The new cable is then fed through the frame. Before reconnecting it, I double-checked that the screen surface was free of dust. It was a little difficult to get the protective film off at first, but once I got it going, it was simple to remove. You press around the edges of the Digitizer screen to ensure it adheres after carefully aligning it and laying it down in place. The battery cable was then reconnected, the back cover was snapped on, and the new screen was thoroughly cleaned. A new screen protector has been installed. a lot better! br>I believe the only tool I used was tweezers to aid in threading the cable through the case's hole. (I did use a thin guitar pick) a small metal pry tool)br>I'm glad I got all of the tiny screwdrivers because I'll be able to use them when working on other electronics.
A sensor and connector were missing from the screen I received. They said it must have been overlooked during assembly when I returned it. The problem persists in the second. I can use the phone, but when I make a call, it goes black right away. I'm not sure why I'm holding it to my ear. When you turn on or off the screen, it doesn't react as it used to. I guess I'll go with a different vendor next time.
This seller went to great lengths to gather all of the bits and pieces required for a simple and top-notch transaction. replacement of high quality Everything about it is first-rate, including the tools, which are precisely what is required. The heat gun is the only other big item you'll need. br>The fit was perfect, the function was perfect, and I have nothing but praise for this product. br>The job itself is not for a beginner, and it was my first attempt, but I'm a skilled handyman, so it went well aside from a few minor hiccups. I got some help from YouTube. Because of the high quality of the kit, there was no need to worry about issues with fit and finish.
Replacing the screen was a lot easier than I expected; the LCD screen was in good shape, so all I had to do was remove the glass and replace it with this new one, which I did while watching a YouTube video. The thickness of the screen felt exactly like the original, the adhesion was perfect and didn't bounce back at all, and the touch screen has been working flawlessly; for less than $30, the tablet looks and feels brand new. This is a great option if you just need to replace a broken glass screen, but keep in mind that it is not suitable for replacing a LCD screen.
I destroyed the LCD cable attachment where it connects to the main board, so I never got the chance to install/use this screen replacement product. If anyone knows where I can get a Samsung T580 (2016) for a low price because of a broken screen or damaged digitizer, please let me know.
The part was exactly what I needed, it fit perfectly, and it came with some extra tools.
The ribbon cable that came with the replacement screen isn't working! I kept track of what was going on. All of the instructions were followed to the letter, but the replacement ribbon only contains a portion of the required cable, rendering the device inoperable. I disassembled it after completing the sensitizer replacement to double-check all of the connections, but it still didn't work. The image depicts what was in my device; however, the replacement sensitizer lacked the lower-left extension. So, it's back to the drawing board to see what kind of solution I can get from the supplier and/or the Amazon folks.
The adhesive is tightly bonded once it has been properly installed. When you use the provided tools, installation is also very simple. It only took me less than 5 minutes to replace the broken screen with a new one. Make sure the LCD screen beneath the digitizer is not scratched.
