Questions & Answers

How do these bags seal after being filled with sand? Do they leak sand once they are Looking for bags that do not do well with ?

You cannot leak sand from these bags. They are the best on the market today.

What is the water resistance of these bags?

A resistant material, yes, that's for sure. It won't keep you dry and the material is degraded by sun rays, so its resistance will diminish over time

Can earthbag structures be built with this material if UV exposure is not an issue?

It is possible to use these without UV. Although structural engineering is needed to properly lock the sand bags in place and to determine how much sand needs to be placed in each The earthen structure of a varmint tunnel will become weaker, as it is with all earthen structures.

What is the weight of these when they contain sand?

It is recommended that sandbags are filled to about half to two thirds It is expected that they will weigh between 40 and 50 lbs if filled to that capacity.

It is suitable for use in agility equipment
5/5

During my agility training sessions, I use them to hold sand that I place in bags. Usually, those who have agility equipment place gravel in their tunnel bags and jump weight bags because it prevents water from getting into the sand and making the tunnel bags and jump weight bags more difficult to move. Instead of paying full price for sand, I chose to use playground sand, which was half price at the time. I decided to use flood control sandbags to keep the sand dry. For holding down jumps, I also use some cheap watertight grocery bags that I place the sandbags filled with sand into. As of yet, I have not experienced any water seeingping into my tunnel bags or cheap grocery bags to cause heavier bags.

Sandbags that were sturdy and lasted for the long It was far less expensive than buying sandbags at Lowe's or Home Depot, and the bags were very sturdy
4/5

In order to be able to lift them all, I only filled each half full. All of them held up during Hurricane Sandy, and most of them got wet with heavy rains (luckily, no serious flooding took place). There is one complaint I have, which is that the ties tend not to stay in place. Almost sliding off the tuft, the ties of the sandbags were slipping up when I lifted them. Although they are tied tightly, the materials that make up the ties are slippery, and the ties are on slippery Therefore, they are not looking for a place to stay. If you really wanted to be extra creative and secure the ends with staples, you could do so.

The two factors that affect quality are 1) price, and 2) availability
5/5

There is strength in these. The sandbags were filled with plastic bags of sand that weighed 50 pounds each. They were tied at the top with the provided ties.

Usually I like bags like these, but these sidewalls tend to be a little weak
5/5

There are a lot of bags I like. Excellent quality and I am sure they will last for a long time. In contrast, the white bags don't need to be held open while being filled with sand. We bought similar white bags as well, and tried to shovel sand into them. It IS necessary to hold these green bags open, or the sides are likely to collapse. It is therefore necessary for one person to hold the bag and the other to shovel. In addition, the white bags look extremely ugly when they're laid out, while the green bags blend well with their surroundings (we're using them as backstops for targets).

Sand bags that are good
5/5

I filled about 20 of them with sand mix from a bag that was falling apart and others with dirt rock mix as well as more As part of setting up a portable garage for the motorcycle in the winter, I will put in sand bags around it to keep it waterproof. There is something more appealing about the green color.

The product is very sturdy and not made cheaply
5/5

After ordering the item online, it arrived the next day. Everything was as advertised, which is why I chose to purchase it I believe at the price, I could have gotten a little more out of them, but I am happy with them for the length of time they will last for me.

I guess that I should have expected it
5/5

As well as the other sand bags we already had, my son and I used these two bags. The sand buckets themselves are exactly what I would have expected and can hold a lot of sand. I'm sure we could have filled them up to 40 pounds (or close to it) but I don't know how durable they will be. There was only a need for about 10 or so The weight of each bag is 15 pounds Still, there was a lot of space.

Sandbags that are excellent
5/5

I have been leaving them out in the Tucson sun for around 6 weeks in July and August, and there have been no signs I like the ties because they work well and are far cheaper than other options. My experience with them has been excellent.
