Questions & Answers

What is the likely performance when these are loaded into the back of a truck for snow traction during very cold weather?

This is the second pair I bought, and I've had them outside for a year now. They're still in good shape. New Mexico, where the sun eats everything it touches. During the summer, it can get as hot as 113 degrees, and the winters can get as cold as 13 degrees.

Upon filling and sealing these bags, do these sand bags leak any sand? You need bags that don't like sand, but you can't find any?

I've found them to leak no sand. These bags are the best on the market.

What is the water resistance of these bags?

Yes, resistance is good, but it is not water proof, and as sun rays deteriorate the material, resistance decreases.

Can these be used to build earthbag structures if they haven't been exposed to UV light?

Despite the lack of UV, these have been found to be effective. However, structural engineering will be necessary in order to properly interlock the bags and determine how much sand to add to each A varmint tunnel weakens a structure every time it is drilled into the earth.

This is good for agility equipment
5/5

My goal was to use them for holding sand that I place inside agility tunnel bags. Water is a problem with agility equipment designed for tunnels and jump weight bags, so many people put gravel in the tunnel bags and jump weight bags since sand can become heavy and difficult to move. In an attempt to save money, I decided to substitute playground sand, which was half price at the time. I also decided to use flood control sandbags to keep the sand dry. The sandbags, which contain sand, are also placed into cheap watertight grocery bags to be used to hold down the To date, neither the tunnel bags nor the cheap grocery bags have become heavier from water seeping into the sand inside.

We had good strong sandbags that lasted throughout It is difficult to compare these sandbags to those at Lowe's or Home Depot, but they are substantially less expensive
4/5

It took me a while to fill each of them with just about half of their capacity. While they survived the entire hurricane season, most of them got wet with heavy rain (fortunately, no serious flooding occurred). I have only one complaint the ties don't seem to stay in place for very long. I was almost able to pull the ties off the tuft when I lifted the sandbags. the ties quite tightly, but they are made of slippery material and they are placed on slippery They want to escape the situation, so they want to leave. You might want to staple them shut if you want to go the extra mile.

The two most important factors are 1) quality and 2) price
5/5

This is a strong set. Our team of two bought 50lb plastic bags of sand, filled them with sandbags, and tied them with ties provided by the manufacturer.

The sidewalls of these bags are a bit limper than those on other bags
5/5

Bags like these are appealing to me. They look and feel well made, and I am sure they will last for many We bought white bags that are similar to the black ones, and we found that when filling the white ones we did not need to hold the open bags open. The sides of these green bags do droop if they are not held open. Therefore, each person has to shovel a bag while the other holds the bag. In addition to being blindingly ugly, the white bags also look terrible when spread out, whereas the green bags blend in very well (we're using these as.

Sand bags that do the job well
5/5

A number of them were filled with sand mix from bags that were falling apart others were filled with a mixture of dirt and rock more were filled with The sand bags around the portable garage help keep it more weather-tight. I put it up in the winter in order to keep the motorcycle clean as well as keep it dry. It is more appealing to look at the green color.

It's not a cheaply made product, it's very sturdy
5/5

As advertised, I received the product the next day. Everything was just as described, which was the reason why I selected this Even though the price could have been lower, I think they're worth it if I use them for a couple of years.

I knew what I was going to expect
5/5

The two of these bags we used, along with the others we already had, made up a total of four. Although I can't comment on durability, they were exactly what I expected, and it's obvious that they can hold a lot of sand. I am pretty sure we could have filled them with 40 pounds of sand (or close to that) There was only a need for 10 or so In each bag, there are 15 pounds As a result, there was still a lot of room left.

These sandbags are excellent
5/5

Their state of preservation seems very sound, as they were exposed to the Tucson sun for six weeks starting in June and ending in mid-August, and have not shown any signs I found the ties to work well, and they were a lot cheaper than the alternatives. This has been a great experience for me.
