Well, I used the bags to build up an area to fight run off erosion, and those seem to be working well, the bag material seems like a very strong fiber material. I haven't done any earth building, but if I did, I probably would just use the same bags. In the same way that sand can hold dirt, dirt can hold sand
The bag doesn't get filled up since I have to be able to lift and carry it, so I only fill it with around 25 - 30 pounds. There is a possibility, however, that it could hold more.
This 100-bag deal costs $36, which is a great deal. It's probably the best price you'll find, by the way. For an approximate cost of $5, I could have ordered them from my local hardware store. One dollar. There is a charge of $2.00
But you might also want to mix burlap sandbags as well as the running runner, since burlap decomposes over time

No rips occurred during the filling of all 100. They were used as earth bags as part of a retaining wall. In some cases, I also filled the holes with sand. The earth filled ones didn't cause any problems for me to jump on. There is a good length and a good amount of convenience in the attached tie, which A knot was tied in my As it is now, it is easy to redo it if needed. I was able to throw and stack the bags without any problems.
The ties could have been a bit more durable but the attached ties are fantastic! Having gone through 120 degree summer heat in mile high desert can be brutal for the UV rays, but they are holding up just fine as they go through subzero temperatures.
The program is very useful for my needs. In addition to the two I purchased earlier, I plan to purchase more for when I need them. The quality is pretty good considering the cost. I stuffed them with dirt/sand for a hillside backyard, and they have lasted over a year through sunny days and rainy days, and are still in good condition, with no tearing or bursting I hope it'll last for at least three or four years, when the dirt/soil will be hard enough to hold a landscape design I have in mind. It's interesting how the green color of the leaves just blends into the plants and trees around it.
They are better than white bags, which are also very good. At my beach house, I used white ones for a one year period to keep the water back, but they ripped apart in the second year. Through two years of use, these bags have not ripped. The next time I need them, I'll buy them again.
I am ready to take on The flood protection it provides is excellent. You are left with a quick raised bed when you place the plants in a square and fill it with soil. your cards at the wall so that you have good coverage. This is a great way to prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Sand bags are the standard poly bags - I guess. My rows of lavender have yet to be covered in row covers this winter, as I filled them with sand to hold them in place for the winter, but instead of row covers in the far reaches of upstate NY, I am buried under a foot of snow Since I already had the row covers out, there was no need for them to be put out yet. There is a tie string on these bags, however. The bags also don't have to be tied shut by strings, which is nice because there are no strings to cut or find.
This container was purchased to fill with compost I get from the landfill (I get a cubic foot of compost at a time, so it's In addition to helping me control erosion, I also use these for the following Before you commit to flower beds, find out if they are right for you. These bags allow me to store my compost until I am ready to use it in my garden without tying up the big trashcans that I use to store Wood chips will also benefit from them The more dense the compost, the faster it breaks down.
