have only had them for a short time, but so far they have served their purpose. Our basement sometimes had water in it when it rained heavily because there was a low spot on the back of our house. Bags of this type create a barrier to direct rainwater away from houses. The devices have been easy to use and are holding up well after a month of use. Because I have never used any other bag, I cannot say it is anything special, but it does the job and I am not unhappy with it.

There are a lot of holes in the bags. We used them to hold the plastic down on the It was great to work with them The bags are falling apart now! You can pick up the bag and see the fraying and rips in the plastic. As far as I know, the bags are filled less than half way, so they aren't stuffed with a lot of sand. What a sad situation.

My favorite part of the bags is the handles. My family lived in Texas and I bought them because Hurricane Laura was coming to our area. After testing them in the water, I found the material of the bags to be really strong. I am in favor of the next hurricane. The best day of my life.

This was a waste of money since it only lasted 6 months

I believe that. After six months of daily exposure to sunlight and a few rainy days, they now become as fragile as paper and can easily be broken. I bought more than one hundred of these to store extra sand. Has the UV treated surface been exposed to the sun? How long does it last? What can be done to prevent floods? The joke is on me. A "Amazon choice" product that I was so disappointed in. Now I'll have to deal with it.
