It was not necessary to buy 20 bags, but I'm glad I did. Weaved materials would be better than burlap in terms of durability, however, I'd like top-notch Quality Control! Aside from 5 out of the 20 bags, there were 5 where the woven material was loose, so there were places where it was possible to We'll see how long they last after I filled the bags with sand. These Sandbags were purchased for weighting down an umbrella stand that was placed outdoors. Other sand bags fell apart quickly due to exposure to the sun, but these are maintaining their shape. The product is of good quality. I would buy it.

They withhold a lot of weight! One thing I did differently was to use Gorilla duct tape to wrap the top and seal (sand is not leaking).
