They are waterproof, so can they be left outdoors all day?

The sun did a lot of damage to them after one year of outdoor use, and they became faded, brittle, and torn

For how much sand would they need to be filled?

In order to fully fill all four bags, you'll need about 65 pounds of sand. Since big box stores sell sand bags in 50lb bags, you'll need two the rest will be left over. The weight of each bag is about 15lbs when fully filled.

Can a bag be as long and as wide as I would like? Dual 10 is said to be supported. A 25x9 matrix. For one bag, do you think this means you can fit two compartments in it? Should I fold 10x9, or should I fold 9x9?

For each bag, there is a compartment.

Do I have to remove the outdoor curtain if I attach bags?

A clip is attached to the bags that consists of a small d-ring. There might be a hole in your curtains that you can use to attach something to them.

The construction is good and heavy duty
4/5

We shortened the belt loop (too short), but overestimated the size of the Carabiner. My original order of these bags on Amazon had not read some of the reviews that allege that the sand bags leak. Since all sandbags eventually have small holes or rips in the seams, I was told to use pea gravel instead. Hence, I went to the Home Center and picked up a half cubic yard of materials. However, I also put the gravel into gallon bags of Ziplocs before I put the sand into them to make the process easier. In that case, I will be able to pull Pebbles out easily and leave them at home if I need to take my equipment on an aircraft instead of paying for overweight fees. Once you have ziplocs and pebbles, go to the location and pick those up. Added five pounds of Pebbles into each ziplock on both sides of the sandbag so the sandbag weighs ten and one half It seems to me that this is a good weight and can be transported easily. Despite their heavy weight, the sandbags are of good quality, and the double zippers provide a good seal for the pebbles.

Had a disappointing experience using the sandbags over the The backdrop frame and lights were already set up. It wasn't big enough to get around the base tube of the carabiner, so I was not able to obtain this for the stand. If they needed to supply more medium carabiners, they did so Carabiners with a large size. Disassembled the backdrop at the last minute. You can slide the sandbag Loop over the tube of the stand when the umbrella and lights are removed. Replacing the lights and umbrellas on the stands will be easier. The horizontal bar with the backdrop will need to be attached to the backdrop stands also. The carabiners have been removed and will be repurposed. Buying new carabiners won't be necessary since black is not a typical color you can find with carabiners. You can simply slide the strap over the tube while installing the carabiner. Due to the weight of sand bags, a group of them can damage your equipment if handled In the case of your carrying bag ripping a stitch due to the weight of the sandbags, the combined weight is over 40 lbs. Taken the black bucket and the screwdriver off the shelf- At the Home Center, you can buy a lid for around $12. Five gallon bucket fits perfectly over the four sandbags. Access to the screws is easy thanks to the screw cover. Sandbags can be carried in this way, and it is the most effective solution I could find. I figured out how to use the bucket I was using to carry the sand bags in a double capacity. I designed a seat that would fit on the bottom of the bucket and then used it as a stool for my subject for shooting I have made a few updates to the system in order to accommodate my son's height. The current stand only leaves a small sliver above his head, resulting in The backdrop stand 8 purchased by Limo Studio is AGG1112. The tallest one of them is 5 feet. On my way to the grocery store, I stumbled upon One dollar for a pair of 5 inch carabiners with padding. Wouldn't it be nice if they were black? It likely won't be a problem if they are darker blue. They just barely fit inside the wooden tube that goes around the stand's one inch (25 mm) base. This frame comes with a base tube of 4 inches or 35 millimeters. The carabiner will need to be between 5 and 6 inches long. If the strap is used over the stand before attaching lights or crossbars, it can still be used. ***UPDATE***
We usually only use two backdrop stands and three to four lighting stands. Since we have eight stands, we are considering getting another set, even though we only use two backdrop stands and three to four lighting stands. I've been short one to two sandbags on these shoots, but I was shooting indoors, so it wasn't a problem with the wind blowing over sandbags. The black baseball bucket I found at the sporting goods store is slightly taller than the previous one and costs It looks like the lid will fit this baseball bucket as well. In the end, I'll end up with two bucket sizes, but now I've got two options to choose from for the subject to sit in.

Sand holds a lot of sand and can easily be moved and transported
5/5

I purchased the play sand which is a clean sand. I recommend placing the sand in a Ziploc bag to protect the bags so they The bag ended up weighing 16 pounds after I added 8 pounds of sand to each side. In addition to the material of the bag, there is also a good strap for carrying it. Each side has two zippers that run in opposing directions, so the zippers do not appear tough, but as long as you use a Ziploc bag for the sand, you will never have to open or close the zippers, so they should last for several years or even longer.

This is the perfect My three-person canopy swing was able to not slide across my stamped concrete patio when it was windy with these bags
5/5

I was able to fill the bags easily. To fill all the bags, it took two 50 lb sand bags (which I purchased from my local home improvement store). Once I had filled the bags up, the only problem I had was getting them to zip up. It's a bit difficult to open and close the zippers. You should aim to not overfill the bags when filling them, and you should also not pull the zipper back too far when the zipper is open. If you do that, it will be difficult for you to close the bag.

I find it useful for my needs
5/5

Based on what I found online, 24 pounds per leg should be the minimum weight for a canopy that measures 10' x 10'. The cost of 24 plate weights is $24. All 4 legs will cost $100 if they weigh over 100 pounds. I spent a total of $30 on these bags, which included pea gravel and I was able to get about 1 million words. It took four bags to hold 25 cubic feet (3 average bags) of pea gravel, so they would each weigh 24 pounds. It's likely I'll add another pound or two once everything settles, but I'm thinking 24 pounds is my maximum. Weighs 35 pounds. This is exactly what I need. In the end, I tied some rope to each corner of the canopy and to each bag. As far as I am concerned, it should all.

At craft shows I weigh my ring light with dslr, and my canopy! Originally, I purchased them so that I could use them with my tripods
5/5

Having a D ring on the bag meant this bag would stay in place more securely than just sticking to Additionally, since my wife isn't a fan of the smell of sand, this bag enables her to fill it with baggies full of pennies or small weights, which she is happy to have in the house. In any case, the nylon material is quite thick and the inside of the pouch is lined with rubber. I don't think sand will be an issue since the pouch is coated with rubber. There is something about it that reminds me of something that might be considered 'military-style' It is graded. We used these after the family photo at our picnic to weigh down balloons and the small tent. The irony of it is we used them to weight down what we brought.

These aren't worth your money, so don't buy them
3/5

This is NOT a durable product! Three of these had torn open by the end of July, spilling sand everywhere. We received them at the end of April. The duration of 3 months is not even close to what I would consider "heavy duty". No, we haven't moved them either. They are just holding our umbrella bases down on our deck. *Obviously, the return period has passed so I mailed the seller a notification email. The seller contacted me quickly initially and asked for some pictures, which I sent, but I have yet to hear from them again weeks later. There have been tears in the fabric of two more bags since then. These aren't worth your money, so don't buy them.

This is a highly flexible weight system
5/5

The tape I used on the microphone stand was very heavy, so I had to tape it to it. One of the great things about these weight bags is that you can choose to put more or less sand in them to achieve the weight that you desire. Thank You! I am really glad I bought this my mic has not moved since I bought it.

It's the right choice for this They are useful for weighting down a photo booth backdrop and for popping up the backdrop You can set up canopies to give shade
5/5

I appreciate the work you have done. If you want to use 2 -, I suggest you do so Using ziplock bags that fit one gallon, place sand in them before putting them in By doing so, you will not have to worry about sand leaking out of the parts should the surface get a little rough. There are 8 of them, they all work perfectly.
