The cable was put together incorrectly

This is a nice cable. Unfortunately, the cable is incorrectly connected. The connector on one end has been installed backwards. I was able to "fix" it by filing off the tab, which allowed me to insert the cable backwards and mark it as such. Before you go out and buy something, be aware of the risks. Some SCSI equipment could have been damaged as a result of this.

50 pin Ribbons of good quality, reasonable price, and excellent service

I used these to connect 50 wires to two D Shell connectors with 25 pins each. They work fine, but keeping the pins aligned so they can slip on is difficult. I haven't been able to find anything better for the money.
