I purchased two of these to go with my two new MSI 27" gaming monitors. I figured I could use the cables that came with the monitors, and they'd be fine, but these cables are built much more solidly. The braid is strong and durable, so these cables should last a long time, and the connection is snug, which is ideal for any cable. Good value for the money. Better picture quality would not have resulted from more expensive cables. These are something I'd buy again. br>br>One thing to note is that when I first got my monitors, I used my old HDMI cables instead of these new DP cables. I couldn't get my monitors to display anything when these new DP cables were delivered. Later on, I discovered that I needed to turn off the computer. Unplug the monitors and my tower for a few minutes to allow my EVGA Nvidia video card and MSI monitors to "reset" themselves when using the DP cables for the first time. I had to dig through forums to find this solution; at first, I thought it was a problem with my new monitors, then with my video card, but everything is now working fine. If you're currently using a different type of cable, such as these DP, you might want to do the same before switching. It's possible that you'll avoid a headache as a result of this.
It has a great feel to it and does exactly what it says it will. I would have docked three stars for its inability to make a cheese sandwich, but it never claimed to be able to do so, so I'll forgive it (for the time being). )br>br>Aside from the jokes, I was having trouble getting my new monitor to maintain my 165hz refresh rate at 1440p with my DP 1. I decided to upgrade to the 1 because of the 2. It has been working flawlessly since version 4 was released. I'd have used my own photo, but I'm not in the mood to turn on my computer. To take a picture of it, move the monitor around.
These cables have no flaws. The quality and thickness of the cable and connectors can be seen and felt as soon as they are removed from the packaging. Despite their increased thickness, they are still flexible enough and the perfect length for me to route three of them from my system up to all three monitors on my triple monitor arm, leaving some room for cable management. As you can see in my photo, I was able to use a sharpie to mark which cable went to which monitor, which you can't do with the standard all-black monitor cables. They're simply excellent cables that won't set you back a fortune.
A dreadful cable was sent to me. There was a serious flaw in the one I received. When I connected it to the monitor and video card, I thought my computer was going to have a seizure. During bootup, the computer crashed, causing the motherboard to emit an obnoxious alarm sound and the VGA warning light to illuminate brightly. I rebooted the computer, but it was still having fits. I went to Best Buy and purchased an expensive, but high-quality cable, and my computer now functions normally. br>br>It appears that quality control on these cables is a problem.
The cable is of excellent quality and is extremely durable. I purchased this cable to replace the HDMI cable that I was previously using to connect to my 23-inch Dell LCD monitor, and it worked flawlessly. I love it so much that I just ordered a second one for another monitor I own! a good cable for a reasonable price.
It was reasonable in price. While the picture quality appeared to be satisfactory, there were some graphical errors while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Cold War Black Ops My graphics card is a RTX 3080, and my monitor is an Odyssey G5. I tested this setup with an 8k HDMI cable and two different DisplayPort cables, one of which was this model. On CoD, this model was the only one that caused graphical errors and screen flickering. BLACK OPS, WHICH COULD BE ANYTHING, INCLUDING HARDWARE DRIVERS. So, as with the rest of the reviews that say "5 stars perfect product," take this one with a grain of salt.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! It was delivered quickly and is simple to set up. While I am not a big fan of online learning, things like the Sniokco connection make my life a lot easier!.
