Connecting an external SCSI hard drive to my Macintosh Plus is a breeze. When purchasing a 25-pound bag, be cautious. There are two different pinout types for pin SCSI cables: the Future Domain pinout and the Macintosh pinout, of which this is the Macintosh type pinout.
Arrived quickly, and the cable is of good quality. Check the pinout to make sure it's exactly what you're looking for. Pin 1 isn't connected to any other pin! It would be useful if the product description included a pinout.
This is a good cable. I purchased it to use with my old Macintosh Plus to connect an old SCSI hard drive. Everything went according to plan.
Unfortunately, it did not resolve the issue I was experiencing- which, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with the connection made by this particular cord. But it is, without a doubt, an excellent product.
It is functional. It accomplishes the task at hand. It works, and I can now connect my Apple IIgs to an external SCSI drive. I've recently reintroduced myself to the world of retro computing.
This was purchased to connect to my old SyQuest EZ 135 for a data recovery project, and it worked perfectly and arrived quickly.
It was delivered on time and was well-made.
