Only one of the three I received works, so I'm glad they came in a three-pack. The connection to the iPhone is fine; the female headphone jack receiver, however, does not function properly. I have to hold the male jack in such a way that it touches the inside of the receiver in a specific way in order to get any sound. Otherwise, I have only one channel of sound, which is either faint distant sound or full sound. The sound goes away as soon as I let go. These are not something I would recommend.

The large plastic lip (as opposed to the actual Apple adapter on the right) prevents the adapter from being plugged into the lightning jack, as shown by the arrow in my photo. This cord ACTUALLY DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. Unfortunately, I missed my return window because I bought it and gave it to a non-profit organization. They didn't understand why it didn't work because it was a non-profit organization. My return window had closed by the time I was notified and realized the problem. I'm posting this as a simple buyer beware of these shady businesses that sell items that are complete rip-offs. I only gave one star because you can give zero stars in a review, but there is zero value, zero sound quality, and zero volume - Again, J is referring to the fact that the cord will not fit into the jack.

None of them worked in the first order. As a result, I requested a substitution. None of them are still working. I've passed the return window at this point. This is the third time I've bought an adapter of this type (from different sellers each time). I'm not buying anything tech-related from Amazon anymore. I would not advise anyone to use these.

Audio will be passed through the adapter, allowing apps like Music to function. However, because the microphone is not connected, the phone application will not recognize the headset as an option. Volume controls on headsets and earbuds are also not passed through. As a result, there is no way to adjust the volume or use a microphone.

This is not a good idea. The only way these work is if I restart my iPhone and then plug them in again. They don't work if I plug them in after the phone has been on for a while. Incompatible with each other.

They don't always work out. 3 wires with faulty connections that aren't always functional on all devices It will work with a 12 pro but not with an X. It will work on an SE, but not on a 12 pro, 12, or X. If they work or not is purely a matter of luck.

They require several insertions to get signal to headphones, and then they lose connection if you touch them in any way. This is a complete waste of money.

The dongles allowed music to be played through external speakers, but not during phone calls. I purchased a genuine Apple dongle, which works perfectly.
