Questions & Answers

There is 240 Volt 50 Hz in my main power supply. Is this voltage able to power the product?

It is printed on the back of the unit that it is 100-watts This device requires 240 VAC, 50 or 60Hz, and 150 mA of current.

How does dual voltage work What is the difference between 110V and 220V?

In short, yes. The TLV program is what I use. The amount given here is 220

Can they be operated by batteries as well?

Batteries are not needed for these devices. Due to my misconception, I had to return this device because I thought you could walk around with one end of it while plugging it into the wall at the other end. In reality, it is not like that. It is necessary to have outlets only for each unit.

What is the standard American socket size for these?

This is a great baby monitor! As an introduction to this review, let me tell you that we started out with an incredibly fancy wifi-enabled laptop You can monitor the video on the I am very happy with the outcome! This continues to be true! It took us quite a while to realize that it quickly exceeded all of our monthly data allowance
5/5

you are just going to be depending on sound anyways unless you are sitting there staring at the monitor. I left it running in the background of my phone every night, and looked at the monitor starting when I heard any kind of sound, making sure he was fine, before I went However, it is not conducive to a good night's sleep to be looking at your phone or baby monitor while lying in bed. Therefore, we decided to downgrade. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made. With this little set, you can create some incredible things for very little money. There is no static build-up, either. There is no sound of white noise, It can be plugged into any outlet in the room (closest to the crib), and the other one can be plugged into an outlet in the room you are That's all there is to it. The microphone is very sensitive, so my little guy can hear him talking to himself in there. In contrast, if he actually begins to cry, it is clear and loud. Likewise, you can hear other movements in the room as well (for instance, when my husband goes into the room to change his diaper, I can hear it all). We took ours on vacation with us this summer in addition to taking them on vacation (the price was right, great sound, and very easy to transport). They don't require wifi or internet and are so simple to set up. There is no better product than this, and every penny spent on it is worth it.

The speaker is nice and loud
5/5

A great range of products! Many of the negative reviews are written by people who do not comprehend what they are reading. Powered by plugs, this unit is only available as a plug in. There are no batteries included with this item. It is necessary that both units have access to 120v AC outlets. The signal was very clear. The out of range/transmit unit off notification beep makes you very aware when the unit is the wrong range or beyond it. The transmitting unit won't turn off if it is not plugged in, or if we are outside the range and did not know. A connected device is one that is on and quiet at the same time. I find the speaker to be very loud and nice. Regardless of how far away baby is, she can be heard, even 30 or 40 feet outside. *** A note on There is a published limit of 100 feet on it. There is a lot of open air there. We, however, visit our neighbors' house and hang out on their porch on a regular basis. After passing through two walls and a metal container on its way to the receiver, the signal goes through another tin roof and over two walls to reach it It appears that we are in a good position. We can hang out with our neighbors and eat, drink, and have a good time without having to constantly check on the Good product from a good In the event that it's a radio type device, I'm buying it from Motorola.

I love you
5/5

We were looking for a digital audio baby monitor, and Motorola Digital has been the perfect fit. I cannot believe how good the sound is and how well we can hear our little one. Our family found it difficult to find a baby monitor that we could plug in and we are so glad we found this one. You will not regret spending your money on this. The doors can still be closed at night, and I can still hear the baby and capture her before she wakes up the children. Now I am more relaxed at night with the doors closed. Packing it up and taking it to my parents' house is convenient as well.

This is not a mobile item, but excellent for your puppy! Night time use was our primary purpose for purchasing
5/5

The puppy is being house trained. It was nice to have the units attached to the wall, so they weren't mobile! It might not be the best choice for every situation, but it suited ours. It's not unusual for us to hear our puppy whimper at night when he has to go potty in his kennel, which is in the living room with our older dog. I also love the fact that this monitor does not have static! As for the price, I like it At this point in time, it is too early to comment on endurance, but the monitor has held up for one week so I will make an attempt to update as the time progresses. A. LATEST UPDATE It stayed in place for 5 months straight until our puppy was able to sleep through the night, then it was turned off. The software is still working after 5 months. I am very pleased with the performance.

I noticed that it stopped working after a couple of weeks
3/5

The update is There is no simple explanation for why the product stopped working. did not move it, we did not put anything in its path, and now it is cutting out randomly for up to 2 minutes at a time, and then only reporting for maybe 30 seconds at a time. The issue still does not seem to be 100% resolved after moving it closer. There is nothing more frustrating than it! would prefer a tool that I could rely on to provide a safe link between us and our child, not one that is cut-and-paste. In the event that further attempts to move it close do not fox it, I will return Plug both devices in at the same time. This is done. I really like how clear, sensitive, and easy to set up this is. As a result, I don't need to buy a white noise machine anymore, since the one in the baby's room makes a similar noise as if it were on my night stand.

Why four It plugs directly into the outlet (or an extension cord, I imagine) and is built in such a way that the bottom plug is difficult to access when it is plugged into the top port. I would appreciate it if you did not use up a whole plug for something that needs to be plugged directly.

Perfect, thank you
5/5

I think that this is a good little monitor for the price. It is definitely no frills, but who needs features worth $100 to find out if their little one has woken up? particularly like that there are no cables to worry about, and the storage unit fits right on your shelf instead of taking up space. There is no ambient sound when there is no noise in the room, so the sound is crystal clear. The only real downside I've experienced is that the lowest volume is still pretty loud even after several weeks. It probably works okay for most people, but I don't need to hear every little noise when I use it for my older boys (3 and 6), I just need to know if they're playing at bedtime. As well, if you are the type to take your monitor outside and out into the backyard to listen to your kids to talk, it wouldn't work for you. However, this monitor is great if you aren't going to take it beyond your own home.

The monitor is small but awesome! The baby monitors of old are so much better than this! You can plug it directly into the outlet, it doesn't require a cord
5/5

It is tiny and works perfectly. In addition to being reasonably priced. As a safety precaution, we keep the monitor in the hallway outside the kids' rooms and the receiver in our room. That way, if one of the kids falls sick and we can't hear them yelling, the other will know to come in. He refers to it as "the transmitter," like he is a WWI radio operator, every time he needs something from it. Oh, ha ha! Although it does not have enough light to see by, we didn't buy it primarily for that purpose.
