With this monitor you are able to have fun with a nice fire or a nice swim while your baby takes a nap. As long as the battery lasts, you can simply charge it up whenever it runs out. Despite not being in the same room as my baby, the audio is clear and I feel like I'm there with her. There is a volume control, so you can set it as high or low as you like.

the units can be recharged, so I assumed they could be charged both ways, but they cannot be. According to the manual, only the parent unit can be recharged, but not the baby or nursery unit. In a phone call with Sakar support, I was told that the parent unit has an indicator light for the charging of the battery. The unit did not have any, but it was also told that it needed two Approximately 3 hours are needed to charge the device. For about four hours, I plugged in the unit and then tried to use it without inserting the USB cable into the wall or plugging in the AC adapter. A power outage has occurred. I find that both the parent unit and our baby unit have a compartment for three AAA batteries, so it makes no sense to me that either could be rechargeable. The AC adapter connection between the nursery unit and the parent unit enabled them to communicate as expected, which made the product function in that manner. So, I returned the product because I needed a rechargeable nursery unit, and this set was not one.
