The baby unit has been missing for over a year, but my husband found it a couple weeks ago. Therefore, I am purchasing another set so that we can have one without the other. enjoy having a battery-powered baby monitor when my baby falls asleep in the car so I am able to hear if she wakes up while I am putting groceries away and carrying them in. Camping with them is also a blast. As my daughter sleeps in the tent, I can sit by the fire and enjoy the warmth and tranquility of the campsite just before she wakes up the whole area with her Neither the AC cords nor the power adapters have been used by me. The last time I checked, they didn't even exist. The only downside is that we have gone through a lot of AAA batteries, but we recycle them, and it's a small price for the peace of mind they provide.
There is no way to give this 5 stars because the power cord needs to be duct taped in place, otherwise it is not reliable. Although it can have a good range for me, I still have some problems with it. My mom lives in a metal office trailer just behind my home (just a few feet away) and we are able to hear each other through the metal wall, around the washer, and into the front room, so I can talk to her and hear her. Changing the volume on the monitor will ensure you can be heard. It is sensitive enough for me to feel safe using it beside a bed or crib in a nursery and to be able to listen to a fussy child from a distance. Right now, if Mom turns the TV off and calls for me, I can hear her from about 15 feet away.
As a result of not hearing, I was surprised. I'm happy with the product, it arrived on time and is in good working condition. It surprised me that I could not hear any noise in the room when the monitor was In the event that the baby made even a peep, the sound came through really clearly, after all, that was the point!.
I was terrified I wouldn't like these monitors, and was worried about the long delivery time. It only took a week for them to be delivered, and I'm very happy with A great feature of the talk back is the ability to respond to a message. Four of my children are nurses, one of whom is a student. As a result, my late night concerns have been minimized since I can talk to my other children while nursing. It has been two months since I bought them, and they continue to.
It is fine for small trips when it is not practical to plug in monitors, but be prepared for them to degrade over time. The batteries last for only a short time, and the display isn't as clear/sensitive as one that plugs in. For what I needed it for, which is to visit people and ask them questions, it worked well for me. The baby can take a short nap while you are watching.
A trip to Italy would have been incomplete without these. It wasn't easy to locate a portable monitor that didn't need to be plugged in, as I was searching for one. For this purpose, this was a good one. I am sure that it won't last long on the batteries, but it is good for short trips when there is no power available.
Batteries fail to hold a charge in monitors. The video was terribly cut out. This is not a good investment.
It's so nice to have a monitor that's designed specifically for babies. She loves that I can now converse with her, now that I am able to do that. The letters are clear but small (probably One concern I have is that, due to the child's monitor being on all the time (so they can easily talk, they don't have to press a button), the batteries die before the night is over. I don't worry about it, just keep the devices connected.
