In this kit you will find three puller sleeves. (This is just a general picture of the unit. A component of the kit, not the entire package). A top-of-the-line puller, the Yukon YT P22 is top of the line in all categories. A large differential assembly is required for drive shafts. Amazon offers it at a reasonable price and it has worked well for them. The unit is for usage in the shop and I purchased it on Amazon. I wish you the best of luck
I have found that the pinion bearing on a Dana 80 will not work with this tool.
It can be used for the Dana 80 pinion bearing with this set of YT P22. Kit with all options/sizes that are available at the highest level. This Dana 80 gear will rock your world" Putting it together. It is sturdy enough to measure 11 1/2 inches in diameter, while the diameter of the pinion shaft is 1 inch. With the pinion bearing, the circumference is 625 inches. As far as I am aware, this is the best bearing removal set to be found. Thanks, I hope you found this helpful. I wish you the best of luck!
The tool is designed for use by mechanics who do a lot of differential work or by individuals who do differential work professionally. A floor press and splitter or splitter/puller does (can) work, and is more versatile. *br>The tool works incredibly well, and is much faster to set up and remove a bearing without damaging the bearings or shims.

With such a bearing puller, you can pull bearings as quick as a minnow. This tool gave me more than 30 seconds to remove the differential bearings on my Dana 70 vehicle. What did it for my decision to buy this one was that I spent half a day trying to remove the pinion gear bearings with a wedge and my Milwaukee impact driver. This setup calls for a puller. I never want to repeat that mistake. The price is high, but the product is A toy is not what it is.
Although you might give at the price, it is definitely worth the price. I tried one of those $50 assemble yourself bearing puller kits. It almost destroyed my bearing with every part bent. With this kit, I removed every bearing from my pinion and carrier with no damage to the tools or parts. You will enjoy using it for decades to come and it will be well worth the.
I couldn't believe how easy it was to change gears on my rear axle. It was so much simpler and quicker to remove the pinion bearing with an air compressor than using a bearing splitter and a Also, there is no damage to the bearing. It was also the same with the carrier bearings. Having recently used this on my Nissan Frontier rear axle (Dana 44), I'd like to share my experience. There are in fact 3 clamshells for this product, but pictured in the stock photo are only two. Would have been nice if there was a way to store the third clamshell easily.
My T-911 came with a case instead of a stand, but the case allows it to be more easily transported and stored. I swapped gears in a Super Duty and pulled off the bearings in a snap. Without any damage, I was able to remove the old Dana 60 carrier bearings to make the set up bearings. As for the pinion bearing on the Dana 60, I was unable to obtain it, but since the shims go under the cup, I don't think it is.
Heavy duty is the phrase to describe this tool. I think this is a superb deal for $ per pound. I'm amazed at how easy it was to take the bearings off a 1979 Dana 30 front pinion. There have been so many people out there using die grinders and chisels, and that is not the right way to go about things. Three reasons make this tool necessary when you have to pull bearings off of pinions and axle carriers. This is the easiest way to do it. By not destroying the bearing, you don't damage it. As long as you do not damage the pinion or carrier, all is well. It was mentioned in a review that this tool is "slicker than a minnow's dick", and it was confirmed by me as well.
There's no way that looks brand new. A large amount of anti-seize is applied to the threads, the tool's paint is chipped. Only reason why I didn't return it was because other than the cosmetics of the tool, it was solid and worked fine. You should get it if you can! Taking this step will not leave you disappointed!.
I love it.
The shop owner in me has been searching for one of these for quite some time. It works great. As long as bearings can be removed without causing damage, that's good to me. It gives me the option of reusing I received it super fast and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend you get one if you are thinking of getting one. You.
