Product Description

A 2-jaw slide hammer puller that is ideal for very close quarters jobs

The tools are ideal for removing bushings, bearings, oil seals, and other small-bore components

The jaw range of the internal pulling attachment is 1/2 inch to 1-3/8 inch fine adjustments are made by turning the handle of the slide hammer handle end threads are 1/2-20.

This slide hammer unit measures 17 inches long and weighs one and three quarter pounds. No.4 drive hammer, 1/2-20 threaded end, and a 1/4" square drive die. Assembly of head part 1174

I found this tool to be perfect for my purpose! I'm impressed with the quality of the tool. The part fit snugly and got my bushing out in one go. It did not even mar the part. I bought it as I needed it for one specific purpose. I hope I will be able to use it on something else in the future. In case it is helpful, I used that wrench to remove an oil pump/distributor intermediate shaft bushing on an integrated car that was fully assembled and installed. It saved me a lot of time and effort.

It is also referred to as a bearing I was in trouble while working on my jet ski when he bailed me out

During the rebuild of my pump, the puller was used to remove the bearing at the rear. With a little heat, it worked like a charm. The product is well constructed and of high quality.
