Product Description

Drop forged hardened alloy steel is used on the splitter halves for added strength and durability while zinc plating and black oxide coating on the screws prevent rust from occurring.

Specially designed for the removal of gears and bearings, making even the most stubborn bearings easy to remove.

TWO SHARP AND ANGLED EDGES Two sharp and angled edges allow access to tightly assembled pieces and create a secure pulling surface so the mechanic can split bearings without slipping.

This product is very strong and half the cost compared to I was able to use this app just fine

There was even a small gap between the splitter and the center of the splitter, so I ground it to fit that gap and pulled the splitter without any trouble. Pick up some 5/8-inch threaded rod if you plan to add your own threaded rod to it for pulling There is a threaded rod that is 18mm in diameter.

There's no escaping the fact that this bearing separator is BIG, BAD AND A$$. In this case, I used it to press a pinion bearing off of a With my twenty ton press, I mounted a 6/218mm IRS rear with no problems at all. The bearing or pinion shim were not even damaged by the impact. The separator is an impressive beast, and I'm glad I paid a little more than I would have.
