There was even a small gap between the splitter and the center of the splitter, so I ground it to fit that gap and pulled the splitter without any trouble. Pick up some 5/8-inch threaded rod if you plan to add your own threaded rod to it for pulling There is a threaded rod that is 18mm in diameter.
This created an ideal support for the knuckle, preventing warping while the press is being released.
I have bought many cheap Baron splitters, but this one I have had, and I have used it too many times for it to bore any marks on it yeah it's a very high quality product with good strength and I recommend it to anyone.
There's no escaping the fact that this bearing separator is BIG, BAD AND A$$.
