Questions & Answers
A bearing puller is used to remove bearings from motor shafts and pumps. The cylinder needs to be packed with dry ice or you need to use a sleeve puller.
If this is not what you're looking for, keep looking. Obviously, you'll need to grind off the jaws in order to use this for this single purpose, but as is, it won't fit.

There is a small threaded "nose" on it, so take care not to damage any threads in the shaft you are removing the pulley from/removing the bearing There are also larger pullers produced by the company that can handle larger items and generate more pressure when removing them. Puller is very good and I am very pleased with it.
This is an excellent set of pullers! As soon as I used the legs for the first time, one of them distorted, so I took a picture and sent it to the manufacturer. It took just a few minutes for me to receive a response with an apology, explaining that this is exceptionally rare and they would send me a new arm. My shipping was shipped via UPS two days later, and all was The puller is heavily weighted - I don't write reviews often but, I thought sat this was excellent service. (BTW, the puller is heavy - The problem I had earlier was a fluke, and I think it was a mistake on my part.
The jaws of the gear puller can be snugged down so they don't fall off during use.

It looks like they are made in the USA no longer, but they are still very nice.
