Questions & Answers
A replacement camshaft and bearings with either size could have been fitted to the application since some stock bearings and camshafts have been replaced with aftermarket ones. For that reason, two sizes are included in the kit.
To solve the problem, it includes a variety of tools in various sizes for multiple years.
It is not possible to buy the case
It is because the cam compartment is so long. Neither the twin cam inner bearing tool nor the single cam knuckle, pan, shovel, or evo motors will work with them

This tool has just been used to replace the cam bearings in my 2003 Harley Lowrider when I replaced the cam tensioner. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions for installing and removing the unit. There is a lot of room in the tool box for the case, but it is well laid out so it won't take up too much space. I don't view anything as cheap. A high level of craftsmanship can be felt in every piece. The 88 is just one of the pieces to be worked on. A few things could be improved There is one picture per step for removal and installation in the instructions. Due to the lack of markings on the plate that tell you which way is right, this poses a problem. The plate is used to center the new bearings and install them, but it only fits one way. In the installation instructions, it is suggested that a 1 1/8-inch wrench be used It is too big for a 1 1/16 inch socket, and a 1 inch socket is too small for a 2 inch socket. To get the job done, I used a pipe wrench, but a standard wrench would have also been fine. There are two bad things There is room to improve the price, but it's not that bad overall. "Buy once, cry once" is the motto for people who are spending their hard-earned money on things themselves.
Buying this one is a good idea. On eBay you can find a lot of them for cheaper, but this one is high quality and precision, as well as coming with a case A case is a good idea when you have all the parts. The price was well worth it.
It worked The only thing difference is that the install plate is installed upside down instead of right-side up! Perfect use of the equipment! The book is well worth it if you have your own Harley shop or if you repair your own motorcycle.
I would buy it The quality is better than other knock offs out there. You get what you pay for. A little bit more expensive than other knock offs out there.
Everything worked fine, I pulled and installed the bearings with no trouble.
Saving time is a huge benefit of this tool. The tool you buy may be one you use rarely, but when you need it, you need it, and it does the job well for you.
The tool is well made and at a fair price.
