I believe so! I will do it as long as there is space for the oil udder inside the udder box.
The cup is not designed for horizontal filters, but the magnet can be attached to the side of the filter when the cup is folded back. If this method is going to work, there needs to be sufficient space under the filter. Nissan Rogue 2017 served as the vehicle used in the video.
You can use it on standard size filters for any filter smaller than 3" if you don't need to use it on anything larger.
You can use the XL with both 3" and XL filters as long as the 3" filter has enough space for it to fit!

I used this with my 2019 RAM and it worked really well. Although I have no idea why RAM decided to install the oil filter where it did, the oil filter location is one of the worst designed parts of the car. In essence, RAM designed its oil filter removal process so that oil would drip over the frame and steering components while the filter was being removed. The product caught my attention on the RAM forum, and I decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with how well it worked. Instead of drippily saturating the frames and steering, all the oil was directed into the udder. I am pleased with the quality of the udder, which is made of When the filter was drained, the magnet held the "udder" on with no problem, no matter how much oil was added to it. Hopefully I will be able to use it on my Hellcat next. It's amazing how good this product is!.
However, I have not yet had the opportunity to use it. Especially if the RAM 1500 is equipped with a Hemi, it seems like a pretty good idea. Filters usually end up strewn all over steering parts when they're pulled out and over them. We should be able to resolve the issue now.
It is no secret that the oil on the 5 needs to be changed. There is a tremendous amount of mess that can be made by a Hemi 7 engine! It is here that you will find the oil udder. For my drain jug, I bought a 4" version and a piece of hose long enough to fit in it. At first, break the oil filter loose, then attach the oil nozzle. As directed, slowly remove the filter and allow it to drain. It was caught in the Oil Udder that the filter was completely removed. I carefully maneuvered the filter out of the There is no need to use more than a few drops of oil to clean it The next task is to review the information. A drain plug is necessary to drain the oil. In order to catch the drain plug when it spun out of the pan, I conformed the flexible Udder to the plug as it was finger loose. Upon extension, OilUdder conformed close to the drain pan so that all the oil drain into the I found it relatively painless to do a messy job using this! The unique tool is a must-have for any Hemi owner who changes his or her If you add a piece of hose to the drain or drain the oil directly into a waste oil jug, you make this process easier. It is worth the money. This is a decision you will never regret.
There is no magnetic bracket to attach the funnel to the frame as advertised, I was disappointed that it did not come with one.
I'm sure this option would be great for those who change their own oil and want to do it with less mess and fuss. Plus it also doubles as a funnel, so there is no downside to this product. This is a huge help for me, as I have a diesel with more than 3 gallons of oil. Not advertised, the Udder comes with a koozie to keep you and your beverage warm while it gets the job done.
A ziolock bag has been my go-to solution for the oil filter for years now. There isn't a better idea since sliced bread has been invented! You did a great job!.
It has always been a pain to maintain a 7 liter Ram. It is hard to prevent a quart or so of cleaner from spilling onto the driveway because the filter is located in an awkward spot. My first attempts were to line the area under the old filter with trash bags and rags and to wrap the old filter in a zip lock bag before it was removed. It is never easy to clean up a mess. There is no doubt that the Oil Udder is a brilliant solution to a common issue. I find this tool to be very useful.
Makes it easier to clean up oily messes.
