Selected User Reviews For Honda 07AAA-PLCA100 Wrench Filter 65Mm
It certainly is a pro tool in that I can't think of anyone wearing it out or breaking it, even in a professional setting. In particular, I find it useful for changing filters on Honda vehicles where the filter is mounted behind the front right wheel and there is a half shield that prevents access to the strap or compression filter tool. Moreover, it's compatible with many aftermarket filter brands (WIX, NAPA), as well as the real Honda filters.
It is costlier to purchase an oil filter wrench or socket. In spite of that, it is very well made and fits well with the filters. It takes just a couple of minutes to change your own oil!.
I have also found that these work as an exact fit on my Nissan OEM As both are Honeywell-made, I anticipate they will be the same filter, but may have a different label. The key is in the fit, which is much better than some of the cap wrenches found in the big box stores that fit 2 sizes but aren't exact fits. If you spend a little extra and get a good tool, you won't be disappointed.
The Wix filters do not have it. To secure it to my head, I had to tape it with masking tape. Use 3 or 4 layers of masking tape to get the best results. We are very pleased with the quality of the wrench. If I do that again, I will use some electrical tape to secure.
You can easily get a similar tool for a third of the price in an auto parts store, but you'll probably end up buying this. When you find your filter is put on tightly with a dry oil rag, there will be no slipping There are rings. Construction of a high standard. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
This product has the same quality as the reviews I read, and they were accurate. The device is perfect for the factory filter and made a simple process into one that could have been difficult or even impossible with a strap wrench due to spacing issues. It would be a good idea.
You should make sure you purchase the right size. In contrast with other products, this one is thick enough on the ratchet attachment so that it does not get in the way of the fitment all the way to This is a great.
To remove this filter, I simply put my ratchet handle over the filter and gently tugged it until it was loose. It only took about two minutes to tighten the new filter (as recommended), but I look forward to using it again to remove the old filter in the future.
