It is really not possible to get And it takes no more than a minute to remove the oil filter!.
There are few oil filter wrenches as good as this. The 2017 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited has been fitted with it.
I fit the filter perfectly, and I no problem slide it into the spot around the filter. This method worked well, even though Harley made the tolerances tight to reach the oil filter on the 2017 Dyna Street Bob. As a complement to it, I made a custom orange plastic drain pan to try to mitigate any oil leaks from leaking out of the filter. Although not perfect, it was certainly better than not having An integrated cutout on the filter wrench makes it easier to ensure that the wrench fits properly on the filter as well as make it easier to get it and the filter out of the socket safely. The previous one had broken, so I bought this one to replace it. As far as I can tell, it is virtually identical to the one I bought from HD. Using it on a 03 HD Fatboy is a must if you plan to remove the tight filter from behind the forks. I had to work around a lot to get it in, but at least this tool (and a ratchet with an extension) made it possible.
