That should be the case. The oil filter and fuel filter in my Duramax were cleaned in the same manner. With the swivel handle, I was able to remove large air filters (much larger diameter than oil filters) with no issues

I can use this with a bigger filter. The truck I drive is a FL1A mortorcraft, or I use an AC 454 for it. In the case of smaller filters, you need to get a But it's nice to have the filter wrench.
This filter is probably too big since lawn tractors usually have a smaller one. Though, it is still usable on a Kubota L4600 lawn tractor if you call it a lawn tractor.

When fully closed, it was way too big. 'Small, medium, and large' should be the size descriptions on here. I am talking about an oil filter for a Chevy Silverado, and I think the size of the oil filter is way too large. It still had about 3/4" of a gap between it and the filter when it was closed to its tightest grip. It appears that the "extra small" was not common, and I had to order the one marked special order. Since I have worked as a mechanic all my life, I have never heard of 'extra small'. A small oil filter (which technically IS standard) is one option. There is also a medium oil filter (which is standard, but with a bigger base oil filter) and a large oil filter. It was way too big for my filter if the one I purchased was labeled standard, so I can only imagine what the Large one would be used What are the dimensions of their Large oil filters, or the size of a water cooler? You should be cautious because what is described here as a "standard" is actually one size larger than the actual standard normal size or diameter filter. An "Extra small" item that's not even a thing shouldn't be labeled as such.
On the other hand, technically for my Silverado regular size oil filter, I would've had to order the extra small one, which based on the description, I just wouldn't expect to be the case. It should just be correctly labeled and they should change it. Please note that. I need a bigger wrench for diesel fuel filters and oil filters since I work for General Motors. By far, this is the most durable, comfortable and useful filter wrench I have ever owned, and I am confident that it will last a long time.
