They need to have an oil filter the size of a Harley Davidson
It's not clear to me.
It isn't necessary to use it, buy yourself a small cheap filter strap wrench instead.

This is a cheap ass knockoff. Don't buy it. The notched portion of the filter will end up being removed. You should not panic if it happens (speaking from personal experience). If you have an autozone or any other auto parts store, you can purchase a $5 oil filter strap wrench for cheap. The oil filter can be mounted on the area surrounding the filter thanks to its small size. Remove the 5 and replace it with the K/N filter There is a nut on the end of the filter that fits 8's. As a result, you will not have to deal with this issue.
It was only on the second filter I used the wrench that one of the two cheesy pinch welds that hold the 3/8 adapter washer to the filter cap As I recall, I read similar reviews elsewhere as well. This is either scrap or I'll have to weld it, so it's either that or scrap. I have yet to make a decision. You should not bother with this filter wrench if you don't have a welder to add what's lacking.
How stupid of me to waste my hard earned money like that. Since I was the one who put my last filter on, I know it wasn't over I tightened up. Pass the hand half a turn past Since I've been doing my own oil changes for over 30 years, I know how to do it. As soon as it reaches the filter, it slips off, and the torque on the unit is not enough to remove anything. As I'm four days past the return window, I am out of luck. Taking this one out of the equation is a good idea.
After 2 uses, the device broke. A waste of time. The cup only has two little spot welds on the center piece where you attach a 3/8-inch ratchet. As a result of removing the filter, a couple of the welds broke. The filter had to be destroyed to be removed so I could change the oil and filter on my bike. No, it is not my first time using an air compressor. My own motorcycle repair shop went bankrupt when I moved. These are the tools I bought to replace the tools that were lost in my move. Both pieces of paper were thrown away because I was so angry.
BUY THIS HORRIBLY MADE CHINESE KNOCK OFF and do not make a mistake. TO GET THE LIP PAST THE MOUNT, I had to grind it down to get it past the mount before it slipped on the filter. I had to use a pipe wrench to remove the filter. I went to Harley Davidson and got a great one. What an absolute piece of crap.
The reviews on this wrench led me to believe that it would slip because my filter was turned "super tight". The further I read the reviews, the more I saw that someone had drilled holes in this wrench and had used self-tapping screws Installing the oil filter harness with tap screws. I was pleased with the result. I don't expect to need the screws now that I'm doing oil changes.
This oil filter wrench does the job, but it is made of soft metal, so you need to don't use a wobble extension on it. An extension will get stuck on a tool whose part an extension goes into is thin, and a wobble extension will rotate in it and cause the extension to get caught. It will be interesting to see how it works with a regular extension next time I use it.
Even though the filter was a little tight, the 3/8" drive portion ran out right away and rendered the tool useless while my bike was sitting on a lift without oil. During the course of the project, we had to find one elsewhere. I emailed it back to you. The only reason I gave 1 Star was that zero was not.
