br>br>This time, I purchased a tool with two ends - sped up the process of removing HPOP lines Having used both, the double ended tool is preferable because it has an angled option in case you need a little more leverage. It is longer, but that does not appear to be an issue with my engine. br>br>The first time I had to do this, I took a long time because I was overly cautious - I didn't want to damage the hose ends, so I didn't. There is no longer a problem.
These do make life a little easier on the high-pressure oil fittings on the 2003 Ford 6. I used mine on a 0 straight oil rail, and I had to bend the short end a little to get it to fit on the driver side, but it beats using pry bars or screwdrivers and tweaking or tearing up the collar on fitting.
Nothing else seemed to work, so I tried a few more "tools. " The fittings were quickly released after I received this. It's difficult to justify spending money on a uni-degree program. tasker, but it got the job done, and it was less expensive than some of the others.
2 off. On the 2-person team, it worked out perfectly. 3 snap connector couldn't get the last one out of the hpop, but I was replacing the old worn out lines anyhow, which wasn't a big deal, but it was a great tool to have and helped out a lot with replacing lines.
The HPOP line at the crankcase is not compatible with this. Even reaching the fighting on the crankcase is difficult because of the angle. The sizes of the bent and straight sides are diametrically opposed.
It's fantastic to have three high-pressure lines. Wrench was a perfect fit for my 2003 7. It's fantastic to have three high-pressure lines. It was simple to remove the hoop. By purchasing this one, I was able to save $55 on the Ford tool. br>After that, I saved about $1800 by doing my own work on the hoop. Product is well-made, and delivery is prompt.
Its okay. I'll post a picture later, but this is a great little tool for the money. However, if the lines you're trying to remove are crusty or very old, you'll have no trouble bending this tool. To handle the extra "umph" you'll exert on the bend when removing HPOP lines, it needs to be made of higher-quality steel.
