Is this compatible with the Toyota Sienna?

They are, as far as I know, a LOW pressure quick disconnect; however, I could be mistaken. I use mine to connect a larger gas tank to my generator, and others use them to connect gas tanks to marine outboard motors. I hope that this information is useful. Also, when both ends are disconnected, the flow is open.

Is this a 1/4 fuel line or the 1/4 inch itself the disconnect nipple?

It's a 1/4 fuel line, but the nipple size is unknown.

It works, but there are two things that could make it even better. if the female end "seals" when disconnected, and if the disconnect buttons were built up to make it easier to squeeze to release However, it is a reasonable price for what you get.

I was able to disconnect my fuel line in my small outboard motor because it was simple to use

I simply installed a fuel shutoff valve on each end and then disconnected the connector without spilling any fuel.

Fuel will continue to flow through the device on either side when it is disconnected, so I installed a shutoff valve

When disconnecting the device, there is a shut-off valve on each side to prevent spilled fuel.

I'm not sure if I received the 5/16" by mistake, but it does not fit 1/4" ID hose. However, it works well.
