It's so simple to use that the procedure becomes second nature. Love it! It's as simple as clipping one on and squeezing it into the fuel line connector, then popping it off. The most difficult part is deciding which size to use, but even that isn't difficult. It's not something I'll use frequently, but I'm confident that this aspect of removing a fuel rail will never be a problem for me.
Is exactly what it says it is. It works.
Good.
When you need to disconnect something, this set of tools comes in handy. These are simple plastic/nylon pieces that work as they should and are a good price (around $8 at the time of review) when compared to buying locally (which costs almost $20 where I live). I've already used them to replace the fuel filter in one of my vehicles, and it was a quick and painless process. The tool appears to be in good condition and should be able to handle a variety of tasks in the future. br>br>Now, as I previously stated, these are made of plastic/nylon, which means they will eventually wear out. But, depending on what they're used for, they should be able to withstand a lot of abuse, but anything can happen. These are definitely more of a hobbyist tool for the home than a professional garage tool. I'm perfectly satisfied with the quality for the price; after all, how often will they be used in a home setting? I think it's fantastic to be able to get a good quality tool for a reasonable price. br>br>The kit comes in a variety of sizes, and I checked to see if they would fit all of the connections on two of my vehicles, a 96 Mustang (4. 6L V8), as well as a 1991 Miata (1. 6L 4cyl). This kit will work on both foreign and domestic models (at least in my case), as there was a correct size for both cars and the fuel and AC fittings. br>br>If you need to work on a fuel system or an air conditioning system, these are definitely worth a try, especially if you don't repair these systems all the time. If you're constantly working on these systems, the metal wrench styles may be a better choice due to their durability, but they don't always fit in the space you're working in, so these may still be useful.
If you work on your own car, you'll need a set of these to remove fuel lines, AC lines, and other lines; the set will fit both of my vehicles' sizes. They're simple to put on and take off, and they're effective. They have a friction fit on the holder to keep them from falling off while being stored.
I've been in a situation where I needed to undo some fuel lines but didn't have any tools, so this will come in handy next time!.
For those one-time jobs, home mechanics are a great option. For those who are on the go, this is ideal. You'll only need to use them a few times in your garage at home. The plastic is a little flimsy, but it's a lot less expensive than professional-grade plastic. I'd recommend them because they do a good job.
These simple but useful tools are used to release quick disconnects in automotive and other plumbing applications. They should be able to withstand everyday use in the home.
