Comet Torque Converter kits fit all engines with a 3/4 inch straight crankshaft and can be used in small vehicles, riding lawnmowers, small tractors, go karts, mini bikes, mini choppers, ATV, motorcycles, and waterski winches.

The Go Kart Torque Converter Kit is a direct replacement for all Comet TAV2 Torq-A-Verters, including models 218353A, 219552A, 219456A, 217610A, and 203814A.

Most engines with a horizontal shaft, such as Briggs, Clinton, Honda and clones, Kohler, Lifan, Robin, and Tecumseh motors, can be fitted with a Comet 30 Series Torque Converter kit.

3/4" (16mm) driver clutch bore, 6" (5/8" driven pulley) driven unit, 19mm (3/4") belt top width, 10 teeth sprocket for 40/41/420 chain

This is a complete kit that includes both the drive and driven clutch pulleys, as well as the belt, aluminum engine mount plate, built-in jackshaft with sprocket, and all mounting hardware.

I requested the 10T 40 chain sprocket, and that is exactly what I received. All of the promised parts were included in the package, which was slightly scuffed but otherwise undamaged. It was a perfect fit for my Predator 212cc. Because the provided bolts are metric and do not fit that engine, you will need to purchase them separately. It's being used for a tracksled project, and it's held up well so far. How long it lasts will be determined by time.

I just spent $80 on this and it blew up after 20 minutes of riding. Do not buy this torque converter; it is the biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased in my life, and you will waste at least $80. In this pandemic, the last thing anyone wants to do is throw money away.

It's a good deal, but you'll need to be handy to take advantage of it

It works, but I had to make a few changes to make it fit my needs. You'll need to be handy and have a basic understanding of how to install things properly. For a first-time buyer, this isn't the best option. I can tell by looking at the pictures of other reviewers that they simply did not install the converter properly for their application. If you don't need a turnkey solution, this is a good deal. Most people will need to purchase a converter kit tailored to their particular motor toy.

I'm not entirely happy

I'm not pleased with one aspect of my order; the torque converter's belt has shredded after only four days of use. I must say that the system as a whole has been satisfactory and even enjoyable to use. Finding a better belt manufacturer, I believe, is a good idea on the builder's part.

THE BOLTS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE DO NOT FIT

JACK SHAFT THAT HAS BEEN STRIPPED. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT. RUINING ENGINES is a term that is used to describe the process of destroying engines. I purchased this kit and was not informed that the bolts provided DO NOT FIT. Will you replace the engine because there was nothing in the manual that said the bolts wouldn't fit?.

The directions are almost useless. I watched the installation video from Red Beard's Garage on YouTube and followed his instructions, and the installation was simple. Double-check that the pulleys are perfectly aligned - As a spacer, I needed to use a big washer.

So the driver had to be replaced because the inside hole was not milled correctly, resulting in a lip that the drive shaft couldn't pass through. The tc, on the other hand, performs admirably.
