A very strong statement. After they were delivered, the struts looked reasonably similar to my original OEM struts on my Ford F150, but they weren't exactly the same as the ones I assumed they would be. Because of the low price and the fact that they looked, I half expected them not to work at all. To me, it seems "off. " The worst I could have done was make a mistake. It is a joy to use these little buggers. Good almost to the point of being dangerous. Nearly all of them are firm and solid. With their tremendous lift force, they nearly lift the hood right out of your hands while somehow they still allow you to close it without any superhuman strength. Given the price I paid, I would have accepted an average or good I found these to perform above and beyond my expectations. The purchase has been a very good investment for me. The clips were relatively easy to remove, once I had removed them from the packaging. In this case, rust was the problem. Neither the struts nor the new ones are to blame.

The hood is secured with one. It is so strong that it will hold itself up on its own. During testing, the shocks were approximately 2 inches shorter than the oem shocks, so the hood did not extend to its fullest extent. Despite the small space under the hood, it has enough room to work but.

My earrings have been on my arm for a few months now and I like them very much. It used to be that my hood would not hold up. All I need to do now is unlatch it, and it flies open. It's a 10. After managing to install it in a jiffy, I have been very pleased with it.

This is an easy to install program. The instructions did not come with the kit, but it was very easy to use. The hood gets a nice hold with just 1, 2 or 3 screws.

The new struts only require a slight lift on the hood and then they'll take it the rest of the way! There will be no more concerns about my hood closing over my head.
