Measure the distance between the camper shell attachment point and the end of the brackets to find out if they fit your model of camper. Look first at the pivot ends where the struts attach to the camper shell to see if they match the new struts. Depending on the brand of the camper shell, you might also want to conduct an online search to know exactly what you want. It may be possible to search Amazon by typing in the name of the manufacturer of the shell to see if they have the pivot socket size or even the strut length.

In order to install my Dodge 3500 full size aluminum framed rear window, I used two 16 inch 28 lb aluminum framed windows. They have a firm texture, but they can easily be closed. I think as much as 10 lbs for a window would be too light, though if they will be side windows, it might be fine

Even though the gas struts on this bed cap are from a different manufacturer, they are an exact replacement for the original ones that were installed in 2002. Glass is held up very well by them, as they are very stiff. This guy will no longer need the prop rod or head whacks without going broke. Install them easily with a flat blade screwdriver by just pushing the retaining clips half way out so that your ball mounting points are free. You should not hesitate to purchase them because you will enjoy them just like they were when they were.
My initial confirmation was that it was the item by taking the numbers off of the original gas strut, did a google search and, of course, In the event that it arrived on time, it did so on time. I removed the old struts with a plastic flathead screwdriver and inserted the new ones by clipping them in place. Because of the new struts in my cap, the rear window no longer whacks me in the head. The window stays up just as it did when it was I just wanted to point out that the struts that came with the ARE cap lasted 13 years. It is my hope that these from Vepagoo will.
Purchasing these struts to replace the ones at our Ford F150 FX4 Camper Shell that had been damaged. I found installation to be easy and straightforward, and they worked as expected. Those supports hold the camper window in place Voici a tip As we were installing the second strut, we learned we did not need to remove the end clips completely before installing. After sliding them back about 50% of the way, position the ball mount over the end of the strut, then push the clip back into place to secure it.
It has now been 9 years since I built my camper shell. Its age is 5 years. It was sometimes difficult to keep the rear window open in cold weather, since you had to push it I saw these on Amazon and decided what the heck, so I ordered them. While waiting for the order, I had a look at a few YouTube videos and thought it couldn't be that simple. It was of course the X-ray machine. As soon as the mechanics arrived, they immediately pulled out the proper screwdriver and replaced the gas shocks in less than 5 minutes. As soon as you open the rear window, move it a few inches, and the remainder of the window will open by itself.
In the process of ordering, I noticed my Mom getting something out of the back of her truck and getting I was very happy to hear new lifts were in the pipeline. I was pleased with how quickly they arrived and how easy the installation was. As well as the price, it was great. It is a very good purchase, and I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mom to have a chance to access them. There will be a lot of joy for her.
I installed it on my ARE shell, and it works fine. You may not know how to use these locking clips if you have never done it before. You need to open them just enough to slide them into the small slots to keep them open, but you can pry them up just enough to do that. With a little effort, your clip will slide right back into place when you attach it to your shell.
The struts were 71" in length and weighed 45 pounds/200 pounds. This makes it easier to confirm fit before placing an order, thus reducing the amount of time and headache that goes along with retuning These shocks actually worked better than the original shocks that I had originally installed in my In the event that I need to reorder them, I will most definitely do so. Vepagoo Auto is definitely a good option if you are in need of an auto repair company.
Since the clips were in place, removing them was a bit of a challenge. Be sure to hold on to the rope rather than pull out. As you pull the clip, you need to hold the rod while pulling the clip and it would be easier with two people helping you hold the tailgate up. Apart from that, it was a pretty straightforward process once I managed to get it off. In terms of installation, I was unaware that the clip did not have to be pulled. Snap it on. That's all there is to it.
