I am replacing the struts on my leer cap for the first time. Are they easy or difficult to replace?

It was very easy for me to replace them, and I believe anyone can do it without any problems. Remove the old strut by prying the retainer spring up and pulling out on the strut using a screwdriver. Support the window with a board once you have removed the old Put the opposite end in the same manner. Install the new strut by pushing it onto the stud after cleaning it up and removing any dirt or grease.

I only took five minutes to change both of them, and now I can function again and I am no longer resting my head against that nasty glass door anymore! If you see a slight angle in your old struts, make sure you order the correct ones. Caution, Caution, Caution Make sure you look closely at your old struts when they snap onto the ball joints. It still works even though I did not do anything to them.

There is a 2015 Chevy 3500 and a 2017 snugtop on it. My OEM struts have numbers on them, so I checked the Internet They are nowhere to be found. In the end, I bought these after reading a lot of reviews and measuring them thoroughly. As you can see in the picture, the Amazon strut was installed super fast along with the OEM part. Lastly, here is a quick video that shows the open and shut of the doors A door that can be closed with one hand. It seems like these struts are durable and I am glad I decided to try them.

As you would expect, they fit standard ball mounts just as they should, although one of the mounting points was slightly modified, and that initially caused the shock to pop off when fully opened. Fortunately, after bending back the mount point a little, the issue seems to have been resolved. As far as I can tell, they are of good quality, and they've worked well. Hopefully I will be able to update if they fail or something The installation is quick and easy, and it is well.

The ball studs were installed immediately using the supplied tools, and it took me only about 10 minutes There are only 15 minutes left! It works as they should. I will reply again after they have endured our cold winter (I live in as far north as possible in NY) to see how they hold up. At present, I highly recommend these! As for the price, it was like half of the local price!.

These were purchased to replace the pistons on my ARE truck shell that no longer worked. Honestly, I didn't know the difference between the types so I just There was much more resistance than the originals, so closing them required more effort. In a pinch, they would be better than originals if I needed to drive with the liftgate open, as the liftgate would not swing.

This is a product I would buy I use this on my SnugTop and it works perfectly. The products would be a good choice for me in the future. Pulling up on the retaining clip is all it takes to slide the clip into place when you are installing the clip. Putting too much pressure on the clip could cause it to rotate, which can be an issue. You should give them a try.
