It is no longer necessary to fix or replace broken glass. After I had ordered them, I installed them shortly thereafter for the glass, as that job can be done by one person. The hatch shocks were replaced with the help of another person. If you replace the hatch shock, it is advisable to have two people on hand since you will need to hold the heavy hatch in place if your shocks are weak. If it falls, injuries may result. If you need to line up the connectors on the ends of the shocks with the mounts on the body, you may need to push up on the hatch. In regards to installation, always install the upper mounts first, since there is more room around the lower if you have to smack the shock with your palm to get it.
The kit was just like the original struts. I looked them up on Amazon Then, I reviewed brands and prices, as well as reviews, and I settled on these A-grade brands The premium struts were a great choice! I watched a few Youtube videos showing how to install the new ones after removing the old ones (using a small flat head screwdriver to pry off the clips). Seven minutes was all it took for me! It was easy to follow the directions on the package (it even followed one of the video instructions from Youtube) and fit perfect. Now my rear cargo window keeps open and closes with no issues. The price of this excellent product is very good.
The ones we are offering are the same as those from original manufacturers and work great! I like how it is easy to install and has just the right amount of pressure that keeps the rear window closed, but is also easy to close. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK! On my '04 Yukon Denali, I installed the system.
During the course of driving, my 2001 Yukon (purchased new in 2001) finally began to wear out its OEM support struts. The reviews convinced me that this set would be good. Reviewers were spot on in their opinions. The first thing you notice is that they are professionally packaged like very fragile items. The second thing is they have a really solid feel to them. To open the clips, use pliers with a long nose). In addition, I like that they are so sturdy the door lifts itself open as soon as the tailgate is opened. This is a highly recommended book.
It is cold outside and I have an 03 Tahoe. The rear door struts don't hold up the back door when it is cold. A new batch of immigrants I installed it in under 5 minutes with a screw driver and needle nose pliers to lift the old tabs off and BAM! It definitely works! I was so late in doing this, why did it take me so long? Suddenly, it is as if I've got a power What a shame! The lift gate is now easier to close to my satisfaction thanks to the product you have provided. It just takes a little effort to close it I love it. Because I am short, I don't have much height.
We have replaced the window and gate lift struts at the same time. The window struts fit nicely, and they were easy to replace one at a time while holding up the window with help. It was very difficult to get the lift gate struts to Over the past two months, they have proven to be the right fit since they have relaxed a bit. I was unsure if they were the exact replacement but they are now the perfect fit. The new ones were about half an inch longer than the old ones I took out, but the old ones were very worn out. As I pulled the strut inward, I wrapped it around the length of the ratchet strap (commonly used to tie down cargo) and snapped it As with the installation of the gate, I needed a helper to hold the gate up and protect the installer.
In fact, I was astonished to realize how easy it was to remove the old ones and then snap on the new ones, after I had gone ahead and removed them. In less than 10 minutes, I had them installed. It was a bit tricky taking off the second one, and the window fell on me, so be careful when you do it.
The original ones on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe were worn out. I purchased these to replace them. I removed them and installed the new ones without much trouble. It is true that they are still when the door is closed for the first time. Once that is accomplished, the door can be closed with ease. Getting things out of the back of the house is no longer hazardous due to the new door not falling on my head.
