But there was just one problem. This was because the plug-in cable for the blower motor was too short. It was about 2" too short compared to the old cable (the red and black cable in this example). It wasn't a big deal though. Rather than splice in extra cable, I just extended the cable. Nevertheless, once it was installed, it was easy to use. The fan I used to have only had a 5 speed setting. I was unable to use the fourth. According to my reading, speed 5 bypasses the resistor, which is why I was having trouble with it. There were pieces of the resistor that were missing and it was cracked. This is a quick and easy fix.

My product was delivered within 2 days after I ordered it. The AC on five had stopped working, and a few months later both four and five were not working either. A couple of months later, it completely stopped working. I finally gave in and ordered this product. It is the best product out there. Don't get me wrong, everything is working fine again. It is only a complaint that the wire harness that connects the resistor to the blower does not have enough length. My old one had to be cut and spliced off in order for the new one to It took me around 45 to 50 minutes to complete this task It is the only thing I would suggest to the company to extend the harness. The reason for your only four stars is this.

Worked great for me. It was slightly difficult to add a wire to the two wire clip since it wasn't long enough, but otherwise, I was happy with the purchase. I saved more than $60 by buying it from Amazon prime. The price is excellent for the quality, as well as ease of You could install this part even if you don't have any mechanical aptitude.

In terms of the regulator itself, it works fine the only problem is the wiring harness for the fan motor (2 wires (red/black) is too short so I had to zip tie the regulator below the dashboard. At a later date, when the temperature drops below 100°, I will prolong the wires.

The product functions but the wire that goes to the blower motor isn't long enough. In order to obtain the length I needed, I had to splice on the wire from the old resistor. Surely I could try returning it for one with a longer wire, but given I don't know if the next one wouldn't be shorter as well and the first one took twice as long as the online shipping stated, I decided to take it back for this one.

Product is great except for the fact that the blower motor leads must be modified since this one is 3 in shorter than the factory one and therefore Furthermore, I would like to see black and white plug wires instead of just black and white since that is what the OEM wiring is.

After I rewired the part, it worked as it was supposed to. I needed to lengthen the wire by 4 inches.
