Will this fit a Silverado 1500 from 2005?

On a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Extended Cab, the answer is yes.

Is this compatible with a 2007 GMC Yukon?

Unfortunately, Dorman does not have one available for this vehicle.

Will this part fit my LS 5 Tahoe from 2000? 3L?

The resistor didn't fit because the holes weren't aligned correctly. However, because my old connector was burned, I had to use the new one. The problem was solved by simply replacing the wiring harness. Auto air adjustment is not available on the 2003 Silverado.

My fan in position 4 is now operational
5/5

Excellent work. Silverado from the year 2002. Install: Take a photo of the wires on the wire plug you'll be splicing or save the old wire plug, and don't cut the wires all the way to the plug so you can refer to the colors later. To get the wire plug off the resistor, I had to remove the circulation fan cover to the right of it. There may be other options, but to get the back one against the fire wall, I used a quarter-inch drive ratchet and some extensions. This one is a pain in the neck. It's simple with the front one. I needed to replace my circulation fan, which was worn out and rattling a lot, so I had no choice but to perform this procedure. It took about an hour to complete the operation, which included the time it took me to replace the fan. Now everything is in order. This resolved my issue with the climate controls not working in four of the fan positions.

Read this to avoid wasting two hours on something that only takes five minutes to install
5/5

First and foremost, I want to emphasize how fantastic this product is. It usually costs around $40 at local auto parts stores, but I got mine for $10 on here used/as-new. So, when you go to install it and need to unplug the AC fan plug, don't try to remove the round black cover on the fan because of the lack of instructions. Instead, find someone with extremely small fingers or a screwdriver and pinch the clamp that holds the fan plug to the motor. (The plug is located on the inside of the fan cover. ) If you remove the two bolts that hold the fan cover on, expect to spend an hour or more just trying to get the one small bolt to thread back into the plastic because the floor if the vehicle is too close to the bolt, and if you don't get the bolt all the way tight again, you will lose fan air pressure coming out your vents and start blowing air into the floorboard. Also, there is no wiring diagram for the wires that are most definitely colored on your vehicle. I had no idea what wires were connected to what, so I decided to connect them from left to right. It worked perfectly at all fan speeds, and unlike the old harness I removed from the truck, it didn't get too hot. I'll be purchasing these again in the future because they frequently fail on GM and cause your air conditioner to shut down.

Even though I made a mistake, it turned out well
3/5

This part was listed as a guaranteed fit for my Avalanche on the website. However, in their infinite wisdom, GM decided to make a joke on anyone who enjoys doing their own repairs by producing this part in both left and right hand configurations. This component is bolted into a bracket. Also, the 7 pin connector on the old part is slightly angled, whereas the new one is straight. The tabs that hold the part in the bracket are also skewed, and the new part's skew was on the opposite side, so I plugged it in to make sure it worked in my truck, which it did. As a result, I altered the bracket by removing some of the sides and forcing the part to fit. I screwed it in tight and it works fine; however, because it is hidden beneath the blower motor cover, no one will notice it unless it needs to be replaced in the future.

Ideal for Non-Profit Organizations Fan Speeds That Work A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x2 Extended Cab was fitted with this
5/5

br>br>Fits perfectly on a child's hand! br>br>Solved my problem (the first two fan speeds were completely useless; (The other three weren't particularly strong. ) All speeds now work, and the faster ones are VERY POWERFUL. br>br>It's been in use for a few months and is still performing admirably. br>br>Getting into the area is easy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy-peasy Replacing the screws, on the other hand, is not so simple. It took about five minutes to take the cover off the blower assembly. The process of unplugging the old resistor kit and installing and connecting the new one took about three minutes. It took over an hour and a wad of cellophane tape to get the final screw back in place to keep the cover in place. Of course, the factory installs the entire blower assembly as a single piece under the dash. pre- put together As a result, putting it back together after it's been installed under the dash is a real challenge. But that has nothing to do with the resistor kit! For the money, this is a fantastic purchase. I was able to save over $350 as a result of my efforts. 00 more than the cost of installation at an independent repair shop.

15305077 isn't bolted in
3/5

If you need a direct replacement, go with AC Delco. The 5 speed in my 2003 Silverado 2500HD began to work intermittently, then stopped working entirely. Before placing an order, I removed the resistor to verify the part number. This part is supposed to replace part number 15305077. The part functions well electrically, but the mounting tabs are incorrect. Because the relay and plug positions are different, the adapter plate from the original didn't help either. I didn't want to wait for the right part or go through the hassle of returning and swapping, so I made some mounting brackets. br>br>I didn't want to wait for the right part or go through the hassle of returning and swapping, so I made some mounting brackets. It's not a big deal, but if you want a direct replacement part for 15305077, spend a few dollars more and get the AC Delco one.

fixes 1- There are two fan speeds that do not work
5/5

After some troubleshooting and watching videos on YouTube, I discovered that this resistor was the source of my Silverado's refusal to run on 1-volt. There are two speeds, but they are only available on three. 5 speeds. This resolved the issue, and my Silverado's HVAC system now functions flawlessly. The shipping was quick, the packaging was simple but secure, and the installation went off without a hitch.
