Yes, you simply press the button, and the brake is applied manually. This is a fantastic brake controller that looks factory when installed.
Hello, Thank you for contacting us. We would suggest TPH- For your 2016 Silverado, dial 010 for more information. br>You could also think about TPSI- To complete the setup, dial 001. Best wishes, Redarc br>br>
Hello there, and thank you for your message. br>br>The TowPro Elite V3 brake controller is our top-of-the-line model, with two modes built in. At $212, it includes a Universal Switch insert and a Universal Pigtail as standard, but the TowPro Liberty is our slightly less expensive option, at $135, it only has one mode. It does not come with a harness or switch insert, so you'll have to find one that fits your vehicle's model and make. br>So far, there haven't been any models on the market in the United States that are more expensive than this. Greetings, Nicholas, and thank you for your message. br>br>Unfortunately, none of the harnesses we have are suitable for your Toyota year and model. Consider using a Universal Pigtail (TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH- TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH-TPH 025) and soldering or splicing into the vehicle's wiring REDARC, br>br>Best regards, br>REDARC, br>REDARC, REDARC, REDARC, REDARC, REDARC

This was added to our Jeep Grand Cherokee so we could tow an RV. So far, I'm very happy, and I especially like how little the Jeep is affected. I was able to VHB Bolt the control box next to the navigation unit behind the dash. We couldn't find any button blanks that were easily accessible, so we drilled a hole near the Quadra- It appears to be a part of the Trac II selection dial. br>br>When we first connected the trailer (after driving 500 miles without one), we were concerned that it appeared to be learning for an hour, despite the fact that we only had a few starts and stops during that hour. br>br>I'm glad I chose this option over the bulkier alternatives.
Wow! It's incredible that something so tiny can be so technologically advanced! This is what I put on my 2018 JGC High Altitude Diesel, which has a towing capacity of 7200 pounds. Because I wanted to use the included trailer brake coverlet (which came with the V3), I had to install mine on the console's edge, rather than near the cup holders as some people did. Install Redarc Trailer Brake V3 on Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 is a YouTube video I made of the installation. This product was well worth the money, and the ease with which I can control and access the trailer helps me relax while on the road. Thank you, Redarc, for your state-of-the-art state-of-the- the- product of the arts.
No more clunky turd brake controller dangling from the lower dash! This is fantastic. Superbly clean Along with it, I purchased a dash insert for my Toyota. As long as the controller is solidly mounted, it can be placed anywhere. To conceal it under the dash, I made a simple aluminum bracket. The knob surround has a nice glow to it and is simple to operate. It's a lot of fun to tow my trailer. A fantastic product in general!!.
It took two visits to the installer to figure out why the EVAP flooded the second time. This unit was connected to the Toyota through a consul adaptor rather than being connected directly to the battery through the firewall. Aux gas tank fuel pump and settings were in serious conflict. The issue is still unresolved.
It took some effort to install under the dash of our LandRover Discovery, but it was well worth the effort. The controller now works flawlessly with our boat trailer as well as the vehicle's systems. The best part is that the simple, small adjustment knob is barely noticeable. . . far superior to the large, unsightly controller options available.
We haven't had a chance to put it to the test yet, but will do so as soon as possible. The added safety of not relying solely on the truck's brakes is simply too valuable to overlook for the money.
The calibration was a little difficult because I didn't get to do it until we started our 1200 mile road trip, which made it difficult to stay consistent up and down hills. It was calibrated a few times after about a week and now it works perfectly.
50 miles. As stated in the instructions, this is dependent on the number of braking applications. A two-year warranty is included. This is an item that I would purchase again.
