Questions & Answers
I'm at the beach, and all of my boards have been holding up well as long as they've been coated. Seal the back as well, just to be safe.
These boards are useless except for a fire, and they are a disaster.
Sure
They are, in fact, silky. Mine was stained by me.

There were chips in the corners of the package when it arrived.
2. The plywood that serves as the "canvas" is unglued from the frame on the back in a few places. br>3. My light coat of acrylic WARRED the wood. br>br>I am completely dissatisfied. I spent hours painting a custom commission for a client and now have the option of using hardware to straighten it out or starting over.
I'm sorry, but despite the fact that it received a lot of negative feedback on Amazon, I decided to give it a shot. I spent a lot of time and money on the gesso and making sure the wood was properly sealed. IF YOU WANT TO CREATE AMAZING ARTWORK, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. Don't waste your time with this. The wood will not be hung vertically on the wall. It doesn't matter how much sealant you use. I immediately sealed it twice the day I got it because I could see some parts of the frame peeling off already, and I felt like I had wasted too much time, so I used wood glue to seal the broken portion. I've already thrown the box away, so I don't want to go through the trouble of returning it. But, to be honest, This is a low-cost item. I'm not sure how long it'll last, so I'm debating whether or not to paint over it. I never leave negative reviews, but I just wanted to warn professional artists who purchased this that they should sell their work. Please do not do so. It's a complete waste of time.
This is the third low-quality order I've received, and two of them are currently being returned as I type this review. There were numerous holes in the wood, as well as tears, and all four were warped and would not lay flat on a table. It appears that getting straight, nice edges is impossible. On one of them, you can see where wood putty was used to repair a crack in the surface, and the top is evenly glued on. I'm not sure who sells these boards, but if you're looking for quality, look elsewhere. All three orders were subpar and appeared to be thrown together on the cheap somewhere in the world. These boards are of poor quality, according to US Art Supply. br>br>Amazon's return policy was great, but I called US Art Supply (the same company as TCP Global) and after being on hold for over 15 minutes, the guy simply said, "Fine, leave your feedback, we don't care if you don't like our quality or service WOW!".
It's well-made and of good quality. Nice and square, with nice edges and a level surface. Love it.
Right out of the box, the wood on the front panel (on both frames) was chipping away. Both had dents or divots in the wood when they were shipped. They didn't strike me as being very professional. br>The only reason I gave it a star is because it arrived on time. However, having to return them and place an order with a different company is a pain.
Regrettably, there are flaws in the whole thing.
- If you intend to frame the art, chipped corners and edges aren't a big deal. br>- One of the panels has the veneer peeling away.
- In some places, the panel isn't firmly attached to the back frame.
- Scratches and grooves can be found throughout the piece, some of which have been filled in. br>br>During my career, I've made a lot of panels, but I wanted to see if I could buy them already made to save time and effort, even if they were more expensive than making them myself. I had hoped for more! br>br>Now I'm supposed to be priming them, but I have to fix the flaws.
Neither is suitable for framing, and I'm stumped as to how to remove the warp/twist from the piece. On the back, I'm going to try to put in a steel frame. I use these style panels in my artwork, but I've never tried this brand before, and I'm not going to buy it again. If you value your art, avoid using this brand or product; I'm very disappointed because the pieces I created are now completely useless. Not pleased with the purchase, the time wasted, and now the squandered artwork. In a sense as a metaphor.
Two of the four boards I ordered had their corners pushed in, so I'll have to rebuild them. This is a common problem when ordering supports online; however, they are very nice, and I will most likely purchase them again in the future. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to provide seller feedback in the traditional manner.
