It's solid wood, so you can paint the whole thing; I did have to lightly sand a few of them to get some leftover glue off so they were smooth, but it was easy to do.
It measures approximately 3/4" in length.
The rim is all that's left. The canvas top isn't quite as thick as you might expect.
They're sold in a set of four.

I've been playing around with different drawing media on birch wood boards. I worked on a drawing for this product for at least 15 hours before noticing a flaw in the wood. It had been clearly repaired with wood filler and sanded, but I could see it and a buyer would have seen it as well. To compensate, I had to adjust the design. It was a major letdown. Obviously, after the time investment, I will not be returning the board; however, I would not recommend the product; instead, spend the extra money on a better board.
UPDATE: This product was perfect the second time I ordered it, and this seller will be my new go-to seller. br>br>The product met all of my expectations. It turned out fantastically! Because the wood's corners were damaged during packaging or shipping, I'm only giving it four stars. Nobody else's projects have been completed, as far as I know.
The dimensions were accurate. They turned out beautifully with the colors I used. On the wall, it did a fantastic job. I had to sand them down a little, but they are still a fantastic product.
It's a strange size, but that's part of what makes it unique. The wood is of excellent quality. I recently purchased the larger sizes as well. I can't wait to get my hands on them.
The cradle boards are of exceptional quality.
These cradled wood panels are something I buy on a regular basis. They serve as a surface for my felted art. I've never been let down before.
These panels are of excellent quality, and I am very pleased with them. One was damaged in transit, but I was able to work out a solution with U. Art Supply comes in a hurry.
