Will you be able to play classic Xbox games with this? Backwards compatible, to put it another way. ?

This is for use with the Xbox 360. It allows system files and save files to be installed and saved from any Xbox 360 or Original Xbox game disc. In most cases, a brand new 360 came with at least a 100 GB hard drive. The 320 GB hard drive is a step up from the original. I got this because I bought a used Xbox 360 to play older games that wouldn't work on my Xbox One S and that Microsoft was unlikely to make backward compatible. The used one I bought didn't have a hard drive at all, and the discs won't play unless it can write specific files to a hard drive, just like any other console. This was the largest room I could find, so there would never be a problem with space. It's simple to set up and use, and it's been flawless since then. It was also a good value for the money.

Hard drive is from a well-known brand, but the case is generic

I purchased this hard drive and transferred approximately 60 GB of old games and other files to it. I opened the case and took a look inside. At first glance, I mistook it for a generic hard drive, but it turned out to be a Western Digital 500GB Scorpio drive with a deftly cut and placed sticker on top. Although it appears that the drive has been wet before, I have yet to experience any problems. I'm not sure why they'd sell a 500GB hard drive as a 320GB hard drive, but it's still a good drive.
