I was a little wary of purchasing this after reading some of the reviews, but for the price, I decided that the risk was worth it. There is no reason for me to be disappointed. Hard drives have been recognized by the Xbox without any trouble. I recommend this hard drive highly. In the end, I found that a USB thumbdrive would also be insufficient, so I was relieved to discover that a hard drive could be purchased from Amazon and installed into the system on the side.
