Questions & Answers

Hello! Is it possible to play Gran Turismo 6 with it? Thank you very much for your assistance. ?

My 96-year-old father plays Gran Turismo 5 and 6 on a daily basis with his wheel. He is a big fan of his steering wheel.

Do any of the reviewers use this device with a Windows PC?

I used this unit with iRacing for about two years with no issues; it performed admirably and provided excellent feedback, particularly for a single motor. Because I was wearing headphones, I have no idea how loud it was. The shifter is excellent, and it adds a lot of functionality to a wheel that already has a lot. The buttons and the red dial are fantastic additions that are extremely useful. The pedals are inexpensive (if serious racing is your thing), but they are separate from the wheel, so you don't have to use them if you don't want to. I used G27 pedals, which I modified with a load cell (for realistic braking abilities that make a WORLD of difference) and inverted on a custom mounted setup. Also, since you're not using the table clamps (which did a great job, please don't misunderstand), the wheel can be 'hard mounted' fairly easily, which is what I did. That way, there is no movement at all. br>I'm thinking about getting another set of these wheels and finding a good set of pedals so I can get back into racing.

Is it compatible with the PlayStation 4?

All PS3 wheels will work with Drive Club on the PS4, according to the game's developers. PS3 wheels, on the other hand, aren't working in the XMB menus (or whatever they're calling them these days), according to reports.

It's a good budget wheel, but it's a pain to set up and use on a PC
4/5

Ok, first and foremost, this is a good wheel; even used, the one I bought feels solid and responsive; however, Logitech no longer supports this wheel, and their tech support has no time for you these days. It was a battle to get it installed, and it was a battle to get it set up. It works, but if you're buying it for your PC, be aware that you'll need to know how to install it. To begin with, it isn't fond of USB 3. 0. 0, use 2. 0 plugs, install the Logitech profiler and never use it again, but you'll need it for the drivers (uncheck scan for new games and startup at launch), and most of your settings can be found in Windows Devices and Printers. Press the GT horn button to confirm that Windows is communicating with it and to "apply" the settings. You are not connected to the wheel if it does not perform a calibration or demonstration on force feedback. Change the settings with the GT horn as well. If you disconnect or reboot, you may need to reapply the settings.

The majority of the time, it arrives in a bad state
5/5

It was, however, from the "Amazon Warehouse" that I purchased it from. When I buy used electronics, they are almost always in bad shape. However, because it was from "Amazon Warehouse," I held out hope. Everything, including the disc, was included in the original packaging when the product arrived. The wheel was in good condition, but the mounting clamps were filthy. The pedals were spotless and had a surprising amount of grip on the carpet. Although 900 degrees of rotation to lock is fantastic, I find that in Dirt Rally with the Vive and this wheel, it's best to set it to 650 degrees because it doesn't perfectly sync together unless it's set to 650 degrees. The software isn't particularly useful, but it does allow you to test various road effects with the motor and set the degree lock. br>br>Overall, an excellent product that I enthusiastically endorse.
5/5.

Budget-friendly wheel buy used
5/5

If you buy it used, it's a fantastic deal. The overall quality of the wheel is excellent; the only flaw in this kit, in my opinion, is the pedals, which are completely broken. But, to be honest, the pedals do a decent job when you're just getting started. This is a great budget wheel if you want to play the older Euro Truck Simulator 2 or the recently released American Truck Simulator. I also give it a thumbs up for drifting and rallying games. I tried it out on RFactor for drifting with the full 900 degrees and it works perfectly. 10/10 recommend this wheel if you can find it used for a reasonable price. If it costs more than $130, I'd save up for a thrustmaster t150. They perform similarly, but the t150 is much smoother. br>Here's a video of me drifting on RFactor, but you can see the potential this wheel has in the right hands, with its full 900 degrees (.

This is an excellent introduction
5/5

wheel that is perfectly level! +Durable. Extremely long lasting.
Despite its 90% plastic construction, it feels great. br> Rubber has a great feel to it. Unless you're using force feedback, you can steer at any speed.
+900- a radius of 360 degrees! In each direction, that's a full turn and a quarter.
+Sim- When playing GT5, you can expect a high-quality experience.
- To take advantage of that 900-foot range, you'll need the right Logitech software. Under Windows, there is a degree turning radius.
- Paddle shifters can be quite difficult to find. buttons that are within reach
- The buttons on the steering wheel are supported differently by different sims. Some people are completely deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly dumbfounded by the shift ***DO NOT GET YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL WHILE PLUGGING IT IN! *** The wheel performs a self-diagnostic procedure. Every time it starts up, it performs a test, which it does as soon as it is turned on and connected to the computer via USB.

I was able to get this wheel for around $100 when I was looking for a more immersive experience in some of my driving games
5/5

The features it offers at that price point are fantastic, in my opinion. I don't have a PS3, so all of this is from a PC standpoint; I hooked everything up, installed the drivers, and I was ready to go. The wheel itself is quite pleasant to use, and the rubber is pleasant to the touch. Nothing fancy about the clutch/shifter; it's just a hard plastic up and down lever that clicks and returns to its original position. On to the pedals, which are reasonably comfortable; the brakes have more resistance than the accelerator and are, once again, made of plastic. They don't slide around on the floor, so I don't have to do anything to keep them from doing so. My only criticism of the wheel is that it makes noise when you turn it; it sounds like a quiet/muted paper shredder or perhaps a quiet printer, with the clutch/shifter sounding like a loud light switch flick. In terms of games, I've only played two: Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Burnout Paradise. br>br>This wheel is fantastic in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The wheel's 900-degree rotation gives you almost total control and matches the first-person cab view on the screen. The shifter, as well as the pedals, are excellent. Other functions, such as turning on the headlights, wipers, and camera, must be mapped in the settings. Because this is the first time I've ever purchased a wheel, the feedback was unexpected, and it was a pleasant surprise. The wheel shakes, making a noise similar to that of a truck, and then quiets down as you move forward. The wheel also has realistic resistance, so turning it requires some effort. br>br>Because Burnout Paradise has an arcade feel to it, setting the wheel to 200 degrees appears to be a good fit. Controlling the vehicle takes some practice, as the extra precision provided by the steering wheel makes things more difficult than using a keyboard. The game's feedback is also good; you can feel the bumps, hits, and crashes as the wheel vibrates in response to them. This has resistance as well, but it is configurable in the game. It's worth noting that the game's settings require you to map the buttons. To map the key, you must first set it and then perform the corresponding control on the wheel. It took some time to figure out, but once you do, you'll love it. br>br>I also purchased this from Amazon Warehouse Deals; however, it did not include a game. Thankfully, I wasn't expecting a game because I had no idea what it was. Because it was listed under Acceptable, I wasn't expecting one. The product is in much better shape than I had anticipated; there are a few minor signs of wear, such as light scratches and scuffs, but they are minor. There are three of these, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. It came with all of the necessary cables, including the power cable, which is a huge plus. Some sellers don't appear to do so. Overall, I think this is a fantastic wheel that far exceeds my expectations for a steering wheel game controller, and it's even better at this price. If you're buying these wheel controllers for the first time, I highly recommend it.

Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel for PlayStation 3
3/5

I installed the item after receiving it and immediately realized why it was so inexpensive. The power plug adapter in the wheel has a short in it, causing the unit to turn off at random. I need to tighten it up by running the power cord under it and using the wheel as a chord and plugin stabilizer. Aside from that, the wheel appears to be in good working order.
