Questions & Answers

Is it safe to use without a helmet, as depicted in the cartoon advertisement above, or is it safe to use while letting the wind blow through my hair?

I've taken a lot of precautions, and wearing a helmet is just the beginning. After receiving the product, I discovered that there were no safety harnesses. I'm happy to report that some of my concerns have been alleviated after purchasing a Bride Racing XERO series seat that has passed FIA homologation safety tests, as well as a Summit Racing 5 point racing harness. After a day of use, however, that worry came crashing back at me like a ton of bricks. I didn't have a roll cage because I didn't have one. I couldn't believe I had missed such a large overpass. After that, I started working on 1 5/8-inch thick plywood. 1 1/4-inch mild steel with 1 1/4-inch mild steel with 1 1/4-inch mild steel with inch main hoop support bars, which once again alleviated a worry that had been bothering me for nearly three weeks. I awoke with a cold sweat on my brow. I HAD FORGOTTEN TO WEAR MY HELMET! I leapt to my feet and dashed over to my computer. I had found it after an hour of searching! After a Stilo ST5 F Carbon and $1500, I can finally play Gran Turismo Sport without interruption.

Is this a GT that has been given a makeover?

Yes, to a degree. The Driving Force GT is well-balanced and solid in the hand. The G29 is heavier, appears and feels more expensive, and the G29 pedals are heavier, more solid, and unquestionably superior. Both cars, however, have a similar driving feel. Is it worthwhile to purchase if you already own a Driving Force GT? Unless you have a PlayStation 4, because the Driving Force GT is not compatible with the PS4, but the G29 is. It's supposed to be that way, right? I recently purchased the G29, but my PS4 is currently unable to recognize it. However, my PS3 does, and I didn't require it.

Is it compatible with Windows 10 on the computer?

it does

Do you mean pedals as well?

Yes, there are pedals for the gas brake and the clutch.

A great set of wheels
5/5

The G29 has been a great purchase so far. For a while, I was torn between the Logitech and Thrustmaster files, but when the G29 went on sale, I decided on the Logitech. The wheel appears to be accurate, and it has performed admirably in Dirt Rally and Project Cars so far. When I get a proper wheel stand, it should be even better.

Wait for prices to return to normal before purchasing
4/5

The markup is not to be paid. The quality of the product is outstanding. Mine has been in my possession for three years and continues to perform admirably. In the midst of a pandemic, I'm writing to call attention to the ridiculous markup. The total cost of this wheel/pedal combination should be under 260 dollars. PERIOD. All because iracing is on TV now, you think it's ok to mark this up over $200 when it's not even justifiable and comes at a time when the economy is in turmoil. It's truly revolting.

In Windows 10 64bit, it works perfectly
5/5

I just got this because the price was reduced to $203. Project Cars 2 runs smoothly on Windows 10 64bit. I downloaded the most recent Logitech Gaming Software and it effortlessly set everything up. I haven't yet connected the G29 to my PS4, so this review will be updated as I use it. For me, the stiff brake pedal is not an issue, and I actually prefer it to a softer pedal. It has the feel of a brake pedal to me. I don't feel like I need to stomp my foot any harder, but it does give me a lot more progressive braking control. I upgraded from a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel, which is still in excellent condition and has served me well; I've had it for a long time, I can't remember how long, and it worked perfectly in Windows 10, so I'm hoping this wheel will last as long. One piece of advice I would give to people in regards to warranties is this: If you make multiple purchases with a credit card, your warranty may be extended by up to two years. This is something I can get with a VISA. So, if your original warranty expires, your credit card company will most likely offer you an extended warranty that goes beyond what the manufacturers provide. Check your credit card company's website; in some cases, they will price match, meaning that if you find a lower price within 90 days, they will refund the difference. Although I have not used this service, it is mentioned on the website of my credit card company, and I spoke with a representative about it over the phone. Do your research and look at their website to see what benefits you will receive as a cardholder. br>br>June 30th, 2018 br>br>Update The Wheel is still in excellent working order. What I've discovered is that it doesn't like to be plugged into any USB device other than the one on which it was originally installed. Also, in Project Cars 2, I had to assign the pedals to an axis before they would be recognized by the Logitech Gaming Software, so make sure you plug them in to the same USB slot every time. They worked fine after I assigned them, and I was able to calibrate them after that. I've had a lot of time with the wheel and consider it to be an improvement over my Driving Force GT; which is also a fantastic wheel that I intend to keep. I also don't think I need to change the brake pedal because I like it the way it is. I've had no issues with it, and I still prefer it to a less rigid pedal. This wheel is still one of my favorites, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'll update this review if I run into any issues. br>br>July 10th, 2018 br>br>Update The wheel is still in excellent working order. I set up a USB 3. 0 port. My computer has a 0 card, which the LG29 connects to without issue. However, when I turned on the computer today, the wheel did not turn on and did not appear in the Log Gaming Profile, despite the fact that I had plugged it into a USB 2. Only the wheel, not the pedals, were recognized when using the 0 port. I then connected it to the USB 2 port on my computer. When I first put the wheel on, I used the 0 port and everything worked fine. I believe it prefers to be connected to the same port on which it was originally installed. The wheel is still in excellent condition, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. This should work fine with USB 3. 0, in my opinion. 0 You may have to unplug and re-plug it every time, but I prefer to keep it connected to the original USB 2. 0 port. br>br>Updated on July 9th, 2018: Wheel runs smoothly on Windows 10, and I can plug it into almost any USB port, including 2. 0 and 3. 0 and be recognized for it. You'll have to tune it to your liking, just like any other wheel. This wheel has made my life a lot easier.

I ordered the game in September and received it in October
5/5

On September 24, he was 24 years old and had just arrived in the United States. First and foremost, I'd like to leave a product review from the perspective of a sim enthusiast. Now for the testament, this isn't my only Logitech wheel. br>br>I've had Logitech wheels for a long time and they're still in good working order. They're not only dependable, but they're also adaptable and enjoyable to use. br>br>This Logitech G29 for PS4 and PC feels similar to the G27, but it's a little better. It has a nice feel to it and is quite quiet in comparison to its predecessors. The gears feel somewhat pleasurable when taking corners when Force Feedback kicks in, but not as much as the G25 and G27 when Force Feedback kicks in. br>br>Pedals are far superior to the G25 and G27, but not as good as the Thrustmaster t3pa or Fanatec Clubsports pedals. Overall, it's worth the upgrade from the G25 or G27 pedals because the clutch feels like a modern clutch, the brakes feel a little like in real life but require mods to make them feel premium, and the gas pedal feels perfect. br>br>Shifter: Because I'm using the G27's shifter, I can't say whether it's better than the old ones. The G27 H shifter will work with the G29, but the extra buttons will not, which I am fine with. I haven't tried the G25 H with the sequential shifter on the G29 yet, but I'm confident it will work. br>br>On the G29, the paddle shifters are louder and feel a little heavier, so there isn't much of a difference. They're incredibly responsive and durable; breaking them would require a hammer. Advantages: br>br> br>Better handling wheelbr>Extra buttons on the steering wheel (you don't have to use a controller)br>Leather wrapped steering wheelbr>Overall better pedals than its predecessorsbr>Includes clutch, brake, and gas brushed aluminum pedalsbr>Wheel, paddle shifters, and pedals feel sturdybr>Dual gear Force Feedback motorsbr>Best wheel for the moneybr>br>Overall very reliable br>Small wheel rimbr>Gear motors (most of the time the Force Feedback feels unrealistic and clunks)br>Feels plastiquebr>br>Judge for yourself, the pros outweigh the cons, but that's just my personal opinion. If you're on a budget and want a wheel that's ready to race and dependable, and you're a Sim fan or play a lot of games, this is the best option available. If money isn't an issue, other hardcore brands should be considered, but make sure to get a warranty because premium wheels break more frequently than Logitech wheels. Overall (I know, I've overused this word), I'm very happy with my purchase, and this wheel completed my setup for GT Sport, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2, and other games. I highly recommend this wheel; it, like my old DF, G25, and G27s, will last you a long time.
