I'm in awe of your responses to this question. LMAO! I'm sorry to interrupt the seriousness, but who the f@#k is this? asks such a question in an ostensibly serious tone? As an L1 Master Auto Technician, I strongly recommend a 4 or 5 point harness with quick-release buckles. release camlock, fire-resistant coveralls and headsocks, neck bracing, and, of course, a helmet that meets Snell and/or SFI standards!
It's fantastic! There are only four things to watch out for: 1) a left turn 2) a right turn; 3) speeding up; 4) Coming to a complete stop.
Yes, just switch it to PS3 mode and you'll be fine. My primary platform is the PC, and I spend a lot of time with the steering wheel.
It's a Thrustmaster, in case you didn't notice. What you're asking is a little unclear to me.
Selected User Reviews For Thrustmaster T150 RS Racing Wheel (PS4, PC) works with PS5 games
I usually play two games at a time. 3 times per week, with the first one being the most frequent. Each session lasts three hours. I didn't want to dominate leader boards or online races, and I also wanted to stay under $200. I went with the Thrustmaster VG T150, which I bought on Amazon on March 24, 2016. After about 20 hours of use, here are my impressions. What I like about it:br> Force feedback/vibration - I was taken aback by how powerful the force feedback and vibration were. "70" and "Medium" are the defaults in DriveClub. I finally settled on "10" for the wheel and "low" for the vibration. They're both precise and entertaining. Going off the beaten path or into a slide both provide excellent player feedback. br> The footpegs - Many people had complained about the brake pedal in the reviews I had read. However, I found that they both function and feel great. I understand that a more simulation-based approach would be preferable. They may be problematic for a professional player, but I have no complaints as a casual player on a budget. br> Paddle shifters are a type of gear shifter that is used to shift gears from one gear to another. There's not much to say about them; they're metal and they work. They're big and easy to reach, and when you engage them, you get a satisfying "click. " They undoubtedly contribute to the overall enjoyment. br> Costs - The price of this set has been reduced to $150. I originally paid $200 (Amazon has since refunded the difference). In terms of value, I thought $200 was on the edge. It's a fantastic deal at $150, and it's well worth the money. br>br>What I didn't like:br>- lengths of cords - The USB cord is painfully short, and I don't see how I could use it as is. I strongly advise you to purchase a USB extension cable to go with this. The power cable is also too short; you'll almost certainly need an extension cord or a power strip, so plan ahead.
- pad - The D- The quality of the pad is very poor. Fortunately, you won't be using it for much other than navigating menus, for which it is sufficient.
- Dimensions of the wheels The wheel's diameter isn't particularly large. It would have felt better if it had been an inch bigger.
- The material - Except for the paddle shifters and, I assume, the internals, the wheel is entirely made of plastic. It's to be expected at this price, I guess. At the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, there are rubber grips that help a little.
- There is no way to turn on the power. Although I did not experience any of the sparking issues that some reviewers have reported with the power brick, a power switch would have been nice; in the meantime, I'm using a surge protector and turning off the power using the surge protector's switch. Overall: br>br> br>I'm having a lot of fun with the steering wheel. Although it may not make me a better racer, I can say that I am having more fun racing than I have in the past. I'm not going back to the DS4 for racing games! I believe it offers excellent value for the $150 price tag. Serious gamers and simulation fans, on the other hand, should probably look elsewhere. I believe it is a good wheel at a good price for both beginner racers and casual gamers.
It lasted for two years. This wheel has been in my possession for about two weeks. This was my first purchase of a racing wheel and pedal set. My purchase was a great success. With the 3-for-1 deal, I was able to get this. For $199, you can upgrade your pedals. If you don't like the default settings, almost every game has options to tweak how powerful it is on your console. Works extremely well with my PS4, nice force feedback and sensitivity. This wheel is one of my favorites because it connects to my PC and allows me to play OMSI2 or EuroTruck Sim 2. The PC interface allows you to fully customize the force feedback strength and wheel sensitivity, as well as limit the turning radius if you prefer a smaller one. If you want to get the H-, this is the place to go. To go with it, I've upgraded the shifter as well. If you have it set up at a desk, you can see how well it mounts in my photos. Otherwise, you'll need to attach the wheel to a sturdy base or object, or it'll fly off the table while you're playing. br>br>The only reason I gave 4 stars is because Amazon refused to credit me an $8 price difference for a price match. This seems absurd, given that almost every other store offers it if you can find it for a lower price elsewhere. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After two years of use, the device began to arch when plugged in via the power cord. In fact, every time I tried to plug it into an outlet, it would trip the breaker. There's a problem with the electricity. It's no longer under warranty, so be cautious. I'm not going to buy this again - For the price, I expected it to last at least two years.
Note: I paid $180 for my set, which was previously owned. I'm new to racing, and after picking up Gran Turismo 5 for a few dollars, I decided to try sim racing. The force feedback is great, but the conical brake mod on the pedals didn't feel as good as I had hoped, but I understand that making this change may have caused some long term durability concerns, so I won't complain too much. br>br>The T150 works flawlessly with Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 (as far as I can tell), and I'm having a blast going through driving school and time trials, while gradually improving my skills enough to compete in online events against other players. Binding the throttle, brake pedals, and shifters on the PC with Assetto Corsa works great, but the D-pad isn't as responsive. There's a problem with the pad's buttons. Work is required of you. to bind D-keys with a third-party program such as Joy2Key This is a common problem in niche genres such as sim racing, where developers are typically small and cannot support EVERY wheel. So, if you're looking for a PC experience that's ready to play, this is the game for you. Every game is different, so do your homework before purchasing to see what kind of wheel support it has. Also, when using this wheel on a PC, remember to set it to PS3 MODE, as recommended by the manufacturer. br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased with this configuration. If I want to upgrade to a load-bearing version, it can be modified. cell brake in the future, and it works well with my desk setup, which combines my PC and consoles into one small space. This model's gear/belt system doesn't make as much rattling noise as the Logitech G27/29's, which is nice. If you're looking for your first wheel and pedals, this is a great place to start, and you can usually only blame yourself for making mistakes when racing. (Finally, here's a piece of advice: Use those low-cost kitchen non-stick pots and pans. If you don't have a sim chair like me, you can use slip mats to keep your pedals from moving.
