Check that your PS3's legacy games will work with the new wheel before selling your old one. Despite the fact that the T300 is PS3 compatible, I was unable to map the shifter and/or throttle controls to work with the majority of my PS3 games. The older games also lack the ability to adjust the force feedback, which is required with the T300 to avoid the sensation of driving a heavy truck without power steering. The T300 works fine with "GT5 and GT6, but not with anything else I own.br>Yes, I purchased the T300 because of its lack of PS4 compatibility. With the PS4, I was unable to use the Logitech G27 I purchased to replace my failed Fanatecs. Thrustmaster isn't the only game you can play. The G29 from Logitech is now available for the PS3 and PS4. Although the T300 is a fantastic wheel, I prefer the feel of my old G27. If the G29 had been available at the time, I would have purchased it, but the T300 is well-made and performs admirably.br> However, you may need to put in some effort to achieve the desired feel and response. It appears to have a similar feel to the game software. I'm playing it on the PS4 with Project CARS, which has a ton of wheel customization options. It took me more than a week and several trips to online forums to get the wheel adjusted to my liking. With GT6 on the PS3, on the other hand, I was able to get it down much faster, though it still required some tweaking. This is in contrast to the Fanatec, G25, and G27, which all worked flawlessly right out of the box.
The Open Wheeler playseat is what I have. It fits into the bolt holes perfectly. Most high-end wheels with bolt options will fit on this seat, according to the manufacturer. In addition, there are pedals. It should work on evolution, in my opinion. It also has a clamp option for a universal setup.

The belt that drives the force feedback is the first major change I noticed in this wheel. It's a significant improvement over the G27's gear pinion force feedback in terms of how bumps and slips are felt. Next, the stock wheel that comes with the wheel base is excellent, and I can easily access all of the wheel's functions. Because this is the cheapest wheelbase with a removable wheel in Thrustmaster's lineup, I said "wheel base. " This wheel base can accommodate wheels such as the Ferrari F1 or a universal hub adapter. br>br>The pedals are fine; they get the job done, but they've been slashed in order to get the best wheel. If you already own a TH8A shifter, upgrade to the T300RS GT, which has larger pedals and a clutch pedal. Sticking with these pedals isn't a bad idea if you already have good pedals or don't plan on using a manual H gate gearbox. br>br>On the wheelbase, there's an extra accessory port, as well as a USB cable for connecting to a computer and an RJ-45 connector. The pedals have a styled port, but that accessory port is only for sequential shifters, so there's no way to connect the TH8A in H-mode. the mode of the gate br>br>Game compatibility is fantastic; there are a slew of games that work with this on the PC. F1 2018, iRacing, Project Cars 2, and a slew of other games with a plethora of options in the global configuration program, to name a few. Game profiles, which I liked in Logitech's software, are one thing missing from the program. You must change the settings each time you play a new game. I'm hoping this will be addressed soon. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic wheel, easily the best in the mid-range category. It's well worth the $300 or so it costs to obtain it, and the amount of time you can spend with it is limitless.

I bought this Thrusmaster wheel to be able to play Gran Turismo Sport online again on the PS4 (and also because it will work with PS5 driving games). br>br>Let's be honest: To rop on a wheel/pedal set for $350 is a significant sum of money. I expected the wheel and pedals to be of high quality for the price. In terms of smoothness, the wheel is quite good: When you hit the rumble strip at the apex of a turn or your car begins to push into a corner, it provides nice vibrational feedback. It also has a massive size. This isn't a deal breaker, but it's something to keep in mind. To keep the small table I attached it to from tipping over, I had to counterbalance it with two heavy textbooks. The pedal set is of far greater concern. br>br> To begin with, the base set does not include a clutch pedal. This calls for a change. That wasn't a big deal, to begin with. For me, it's a deal breaker because I've been driving a stick for 20 years and have no lingering fondness for clutches. My current daily driver, on the other hand, is equipped with a rock-solid suspension system. a solid ZF manufactur- I like being able to paddle shift without having to use the clutch. br>The basic pedal set has at least five inches of travel and no progressive spring resistance. Real automobiles are not constructed in this manner. Furthermore, it's not always clear when you've reached a point where pushing any further is futile. I'm still experimenting with the sensitivity, but I'm thinking about returning this. I almost prefer dealing with the equipment- The force of the Logitech wheel causes grinding. Feedback is improved, and the pedal response is improved.
This product was delivered to me in August 2017 and is currently BROKEN as of September 2017. On startup, it does not start up and run through the servo routine. It has simply ceased to function. period. I'm irritated to the point of rage. The setup is simple, and mounting it to a desk is simple as well. br>br>The force feedback is powerful and precise. The included wheel is of a reasonable size, and the buttons are of good quality and well-placed. The paddle shifters are incredible. br>br> It's made of metal and has a satisfying tactile click to it. br>br>This is a 5 star product with two minor flaws in the wheel base: 1. br>br> There is no way to remove the USB cable. The solution is extremely clumsy. It's incredible that this hasn't been figured out in all the years that Thrustmaster has been producing wheels. These flaws can be overlooked. br>br> The pedals that come with the T300rs, on the other hand, are terrible. You'll have to go out and purchase a new set. br>br>The pedals feel cheap because they are cheap, and the potentiometers can tilt in their brackets, causing the brake or throttle to go to full even if you aren't touching them! After a week of frustration, I had to replace them (I eventually purchased the load cell pedals, which are amazing but not cheap). br>br>basically, buy the t3pa or t-series for the wheel. LCM pedals are a type of pedal that is used to control the speed of a vehicle If you're serious about buying this mid-range wheel, the included pedals are an insult. br>br>I'm giving it four stars instead of three because of how precise the ffb is and how immersive the driving experience is with the wheel and the included rim.
