Questions & Answers

How do you do this? Do you need a computer?

You are right. This game requires Steam VR in order to run

Vive Pro is it necessary for you?

There is no difference between the original Vive and the Vive Pro the new Tracker is universal. Additionally, it is compatible with Lighthouse 1, which is currently available. Lighthouse 2 can be used with it, and will be compatible with Lighthouse 0. Assume a standard of 0.

Is it necessary to purchase Would you mind if I added one for my hip, two for my ankles?

You will definitely need two for each foot and one for each hip. If you are talking about Full Body Tracking for things like VRChat, then yes.

Does the new HTC tracking device and the used HTC tracking device have the same An example would be a power cord and a USB ?

It's not always the case that it comes with everything. One of my used trackers only came with the tracker, which makes no sense since the accessories don't come with it and the tracker is useless without it. In other words, if you only get the tracker, make sure you return it as soon as possible

A lewd act
5/5

In future I'll have to figure out how to use them for other purposes other than doing lewd things in VR chat.

I find both the Oculus Rift CV1 and Valve Index experiences to be pretty expensive, but it's well worth it
5/5

Though they were expensive and possibly overpriced, they were worth the money to me to be able to use them as they add so much to the experience. Even though there aren't very many games that support them, I bought 3 of them mainly to use in VR Chat. An additional device for hip and foot tracking is included, as well as straps to help with that. It's amazing how accurate they are, even though I bought them with low expectations because I was planning to use them with my mixed setup of Oculus Rift gear. Due to the fact that Oculus does not make their own trackers, I had to purchase the HTC Vive Lighthouses separately to be able to use my HMD and controllers since they are better than the HTC Vive, but I do not regret making the purchase. It was very easy to set up through SteamVR, though there are a few more steps if you plan on using an Oculus HMD or Controllers since they should work perfectly with it, but there are many guides available to assist you in getting it all set up in no time! It would be simpler and easier to use them with an HTC Vive. If you use an Oculus Rift like I did, ensure you have at least 6 free ports for the trackers, sensors, and the HMD if you plan on using 3 trackers too. Vive users will receive between one and four trackers depending on how many dongles they have. Keep in mind that each tracker consumes a USB port because the dongle that comes with the tracker needs to be plugged in. Users of Oculus should read the following information plan on using these trackers alongside an Oculus Rift, do keep in mind that there can be some interference between the trackers and the controllers whenever the Oculus Touch controllers are held close to them. There are sometimes issues with tracking, but you should still check your lighthouse sensor positioning, which may also affect your experience. I rarely experience interference and near perfect tracking, but I know others who experience bad interference for some reason even with the 2018 trackers which cause less interference. Furthermore, if you touch one of the trackers with an Oculus Touch controller while using them, it may appear your tracker is going off in a random direction in virtual space for a few seconds prior to returning to normal, but I have yet to have this occur. I just wanted to let you know! Please refer to the following Valve Index update for 11/23/2019 In light of the fact that I upgraded to the Valve Index about two months ago, I thought I might as well share my experience with them. Just as with the HTC Vive, setting up the Valve Index was as simple as plugging in the dongles and adding them as a new controller in SteamVR to get it to work it was basically plug, Since there isn't any hassle or worry involved in using these with a headgear that also uses the lighthouses/base stations for tracking, it is definitely more effective to use them with an HMD. While it did take quite a bit of setup to get them working, I still have a lot of fun using them with my Oculus Rift CV1 despite the fact they did require quite a bit of setup. I would still highly recommend them for Research shows that the trackers can also be used with any other VR headset just like the Oculus Rift CV1, so if you don't own that headset but have something like a Windows Mixed Reality or Rift S/Quest, you can still use it!.

This Vive product is amazing
5/5

I highly recommend it! VRChat is my favorite app and I will say that these are worth every penny (overpriced yes) because they take about one minute to load. Even with 1 day shipping, it takes two weeks to ship out. Despite the wait, it is well worth it. Batteries have a life of five years This tracker lasts for about six hours, so it's not too bad, having such a tiny form factor. With the tracking accuracy being a 10/10, I can twist my ankle in any direction and it will pick it up. Having a Fullbody avatar will do the trick if you're playing VRChat, as I had one commissioned so I could avoid frustration and time spent designing one. If you want to play VRChat with fullbody, you will need three trackers, not one or two. Saving money by buying them all at the same time would be great.

Game capture is expensive, but you can get high-quality motion capture at a low cost
5/5

It isn't recommended to get this device if you now intend to play video games with it, but the price should come down dramatically in the coming months, so don't be impatient. In case you're an animator, this is a guide you don't want to miss. You can get very good mocap data from a machine like Ikinema Orion or VRIK. If you tweak the settings, you can best get VRIK to work. When you have a number of trackers and VRIK, along with a lot of free space in your basement or garage, the quality/accuracy is similar to that of Xsens. I bought Ikinema Orion because it was amazing, but it is pricey, $500/year is probably not worth it compared to VRIK software. I already had VRIK, so I just spent a few hundred on trackers instead of the There is value in having as many trackers as possible.

I find them easy to use and the right ones to use for my application
5/5

The VRChat body tracking device was purchased for full body tracking. Unless, somehow, the base stations lose sight of them, things work just fine and no weird errors or glitches occur. Approximately three times that long is their charge time. It takes around an hour for them to charge after 5 to 4 hours of constant use. As far as I've seen, I have not experienced battery life problems or tracking loss issues If you want to be more animated in virtual reality, those are the apps you should check out.

Index controllers are powered by batteries that last the same length of time as the batteries
5/5

In contrast to the 2018 model, these are smaller, lighter, and have superior battery life. There may be a price difference between these and the 2018 model, but you would need to purchase a battery pack for your trackers to achieve the same battery life as Because of this, they're a lot smaller, lighter, and are much easier to handle. It has been consistent and omitted no drops during what I played over the last few days.

You can count on them! purchased 3 of them for full body tracking, and they are great
5/5

It does happen that they lose contact with the base stations on occasion, and in some games that support them, you have to spend some time getting them up and running. The motion tracking app is not perfect, but I love being able to see what my feet are doing Their quality is excellent, and I am completely satisfied. In spite of that, I still adore my Vive. Purchase was the best decision of my life.

My Virtual Reality Journey Has Begun! These are so awesome! With the Valve Index, I wanted to go all the way, so I ordered 3 of these for full body capture
5/5

Virtual Reality allowed me to perform a handstand. I am not going to lie, the price is hard to swallow at first. However, they are a ton of fun, and I haven't regretted buying them.
