I got these in anticipation of my quest 2, because I had never used knuckle controllers before, but heard they were great. They weren't compatible with the Halo protector I had picked up when I got them, so I tried them out for a bit. My reaction was to just shrug it off and go along with the event. I noticed that the material on which I gripped my hand was getting scratchy after a week, and started leaving marks on my hand. In the end, I ordered some new knuckle grips from VR Cover to accompany the Halo protectors and figured I could help some people. It would be fine to use these as VR Covers if you get some soft fabric to cover the strap. Adding the analog nubs is a nice touch as well! I guess it did the job for me, it just wasn't my cup of tea! It's no problem if the straps start getting uncomfortable. However, you'll have to use strap covers if you're experiencing discomfort.
I like the material used to make the silicone This controller cover is soft and comfortable, so it's ideal for my quest 2. My issues with hard and heavy materials stem from my experience with product from other sellers. I think I will like this one a lot. It's hard for me to hold large objects with my small hands. On the Oculus 2, my fingers are designed to fit closely on the controller, and to have a firm grip while playing beat saber because of two grooves in the finger part of the grip. However, Amazon's logistics cannot keep up with demand*.
My children are comfortable and don't feel like they're going to fly across the room when I throw something at them.
The grip of it in BEAT SABER provides a strong grip, and it is designed to cling to the fingers. It's an easy way to change the battery with its button-like installation. I find it to be very soft and comfortable, especially when I play HALF-court hockey It is based on the Life Alyx.
