So it's a decent case with no major flaws, but my controllers have grips on them and thus do not fit properly. It would be preferable if there was some extra room to account for the fraction of an inch difference in size between controllers and grips. I understand that they wanted everything to fit perfectly so nothing moved around, but when I got a new head strap, it came with grips, similar to the ones sold in the package deal with this case, you'd think they'd design the case to accommodate them. br>I'll probably get a different case in the end because I'm not happy with the head strap, and the one I'm considering won't fit in this case.
This case came with an Esimen Quest 2 elite-style strap, which I purchased together. The strap appears to be much more durable than the one sold at the Oculus store, and it was simple to install. This case fit the Quest 2 perfectly, including the new head strap, as well as the two hand controllers, and it's well-made. Only the lack of a storage pocket or netting to hold items like the charger or cables prevents this from receiving five stars. They do have room, but it's more of a squeeze. where- you- can be a problem. In general, I'm very happy with the results.
I had bought another case that said it would fit the quest 2 Elite headset, but I didn't realize there was a difference until it arrived and my new gear didn't fit. I looked for a compact case that would work for a long time before settling on this one, which I adore! It took me a while to figure out where to put the handset, but it's perfect for the Orzero headset.
This is the third case I've tried, all of which claimed to be able to fit the Rift's "Epic Strap. " Unfortunately, my Epic Strap differs from others in that it has an extra piece on the back of your head that holds an extended battery (just in case ;) ) ). This is the only case I've come across that fits that strap, and it's fantastic.
Fits my third-party GnorU elite head strap, BmTick mad frog lens cover, Kiwi shell cover with side covers, Kiwi silicone halo covers, and Kiwi controller grips with battery opening and knuckle straps. The controllers are a tight fit, but they'll work out. The charging cable is located in the front, additional controller batteries are located in the back, and disposable face masks and a lens cleaning cloth are located on the top. The case is well-made, and the zipper is strong. I'm very happy.
It's small, well-made, durable, and convenient to transport. It was a wise decision.
The adjustable head set fits perfectly in this case.
