Questions & Answers
This strap is much more comfortable than that style, especially on the back of the head. It also has a much wider adjustment range, which makes it suitable for people with larger heads.
The strap loosening and tightening wheel located on the back. If needed, it can grow to be quite large.
Without a doubt. The head strap is snug enough to be used for most activities, including exercise. Slightly claustrophobic, but still extremely welcoming.

To replace the elite strap, I decided to purchase this halo strap. It's not just any oem strap; it's the one you pay extra for. Even with a better strap, the face pressure became too much for me. I tried everything, including a better face cushion and a fabric cover for added comfort, but I kept tightening and tightening the strap in order to get a better field of view. I eventually grew tired of the pressure on my face and decided to switch between the two, the halo for comfort and the elite strap for visibility. But holy crap, once I got the halo on and in place, including the part in the back that slides down and cradles your neck, it was incredible. The field of view improved rather than deteriorated. It's difficult to put into words how much the back of this strap makes a difference. With almost no pressure, it holds extremely well. This is the only strap I'll ever need; it's so comfortable, and it doesn't reduce my field of vision; in fact, it improves it! (This is not a paid review; I am a true VR enthusiast who cannot recommend this highly enough. ).
With the Quest 2, I was experiencing a lot of strain on the bottom of my forehead and was on the verge of ordering the Elite strap. However, after a few uses, if not a few months, I noticed that many of them were breaking. I came across this BOBOVR, which appeared to be a lot more promising. br>br>I got it a few days ago and it's been great so far. Multiple axis adjustability, plush padding, and a biker-friendly design The back style knob for adjusting tightness to fit is fantastic. Because you can get it snug enough, it almost completely eliminates "light bleed" from the nose area. I'm hoping that now that VR is more comfortable, I'll be able to spend more time in it. br>br>I don't have to worry about getting the right "strap fit" any longer, because adjusting is so simple. For the Oculus 2, I would strongly recommend it.
I decided on this Halo Strap after watching video reviews and researching my options. First impressions: br>br> The product comes in attractive packaging and is pleasing to the eye. It has an Oculus feel to it and is a perfect match for the Quest 2. The "arms" slide on rather than clipping, which I prefer because clipping is a pain. I always feel like I'm going to break something when I use the elite strap method. br>br>I found it a little more difficult to find a "sweet spot" when adjusting for comfort than the elite strap, but once you do, it fits amazingly well. This strap clamps your upper forehead and lower skull with large cushions, whereas the elite strap simply smushes on to your face (pressing in the facial interface to your forehead and cheeks). This pressure felt less intense than that of the elite strap due to the size of the cushions. I believe the BOBOVR M2 is a good choice for longer sessions. br>br>This is where the elite strap comes in handy- Quick movements or unusual positions are two examples of unusual positions. When playing a fast-paced game, I prefer the elite strap because it has a more secure hold (especially when the Velcro strap is tightened). Don't get me wrong: the M2 is a secure fit, but it's more prone to shifting when you turn your head quickly or make any kind of rapid movement. In addition, when looking straight down, the M2 isn't particularly good. And, in VR, this isn't something that needs to be done all that often. I only bring it up because it's one of the few times the M2 has made me feel uneasy. To sum it up, the BOBOVR M2 is a fantastic value for money and a very comfortable halo-style headset. For the Quest 2, a stylish strap is available. Anyone looking for an upgrade from the original Quest strap (the horrible cloth one) or an alternative to the elite strap should consider this. br>br>Once I receive my new elite strap, I'll update my review to reflect whether or not the M2 will continue to be my "primary" gaming strap. I believe it will, for the time being.
The concept was great, but the head strap kept sliding up, causing the quest to lose focus or drop down. Getting three was a stroke of luck. After 5 minutes of use, you'll have to readjust it again.
This is, without a doubt, the most relaxing. It's easy to put on and take off. There's no need to be concerned about it collapsing. br>br>Turn your head to the side and shake it. If you do a handstand in Vrchat, it will stay put, even if it does slip a little. Do you despise the velcro at the top of your shirt? You're unlikely to need it in the first place. br>br>Easy to clean, just give it a quick wipe down and you're done. The pads can be removed for a thorough cleaning. br>br>It's ridiculously simple to adjust, and once you've got it dialed in, it's just a matter of flipping the back down and up. This is useful if you need to remove it quickly and frequently without having to make any adjustments.
I've also experimented with other halo straps. With the exception of one or two things that made me say, "It's good," they all felt pretty good. but. I've had the BOBOVR M2 for a few weeks now, and I can't think of anything that prompts me to say that. br>br>It fits well, but not too snugly (and I have a large head. ) ) On the other hand, it never feels loose. I wish it had a slot for my external battery, but I ended up wrapping my battery around the back of it with the included floppy strap. br>br>Aside from that, I can't think of a better way to describe how this halo feels and fits. There are times when I am completely unaware that I am wearing it. If you can't get this thing to fit comfortably (despite all the adjusting points), you have a peculiarly shaped head. Overall, the score is 9. On a scale of one to ten, this is a four out of ten (Because there isn't an on-site restaurant. ) Its only flaw is the lack of a board for holding an external battery.
