Questions & Answers

Can this be used on the ?

My Xbox One tmx wheel has a box that says I can upgrade to these pedals if I want.

Are you able to use it with the thrustmaster T150?

It will work with any thrustmaster as long as the connector connects to the back of the wheel and has the right shape.

Is it possible to use the shifter with the T80 that costs 100 dollars?

The answer is yes

My steering wheel is the thrusmaster tx racing wheel & my shifter is the thrustmaster th8a. I cannot get my shifter to work on my Xbox One! There has been an update to the firmware, but nothing has happened! Can you tell me how to solve this problem?

This was also an issue for me. Your TX racing wheel needs to be updated with new firmware for the issue to be resolved. If you want to update your TX racing wheel firmware, you'll need to unplug the USB cable from your Xbox One, plug it into your PC, and then follow the Thrustmaster support instructions. You will need to reconnect your USB cable to your Xbox One once your TX racing wheel's firmware is updated. Now that TSS Handbrake works, you can use it as usual.

I feel like I'm watching It was very confusing when I first looked at it
5/5

In this article it is stated that this device is only compatible with the TX wheel for Xbox one, which is incorrect. My TMX pro worked right out of the box after I purchased the item. Almost no assembly is necessary since the shifting knob is attached with a screw. This product fits perfectly with the freewheeler racing seat that I purchased. If this has been clamped down for a long time, it would eventually want to slip Being a carpenter, this has led me to order a universal center console off of ebay. I have also purchased a frame and upholster support for the shifter and the elbow rest If you are able to construct this setup, you will be very happy with Now that I have this product, all I need to do is learn how to drift in Forza Horizon, since I am so bad.

Make sure you read this before you make a purchase, otherwise you might be disappointed with it
3/5

This pedal was supposed to be compatible with my TMX Pro wheel, so I bought it. The TH8A was my first choice instead of the Fanatec or Logitech shifters because I would be able to save myself a USB slot by plugging it into the steering My mistake! I was mistaken! I did not find this to be disclosed anywhere in the marketing materials at the time I bought the product.

The first issue is that you need a USB cable when using it with a PC. The real problem is it requires USB 2. The biggest issue is that these dongles aren't available for USB 2. Lucky for me, the $450 laptop board I purchased did not have USB 2 ports, so I am in need of some USB 0 ports. I find it absurd to still require USB 2 when USB 3 has been around on par with the shifter for a long time! I can say that the material is good and that's about the only good thing I can say about it as there are a number of growing pains to be overcome in order to integrate it into your system! It would almost never complete the fine tuning stage of the calibration or apply the settings, as well as wouldn't tell me what was going on next. I had to repeat the gesture of shifting to neutral and then back into gear several times for it to complete some steps. It turns out you have to move the green lines in the fine tuning, and there was no indication of this within the app! Rather than a pop-up window, I had to download the calibration guide to get clarification about something that should have been explained in a pop-up The next point is that I have a problem. In Assetto Corsa, I had been able to configure the shifter after calibrating it one time however, when I pressed Reverse, it did not work and I got stuck in a spot I could not get out of. As it turns out, this is an AC issue, since they like to automatically shift the gears by default (Control+G in the game on a PC will turn it It's just the shifter I don't want and I am almost done with thrustmaster. It is an outrageous inequity that the most customizable platform (PC) on the planet serves USB while the Xbox One runs Windows 10 and never has issues with the shifting cable attached to the front In the end, I was a little soft on the shifter because it was now working in Corsa and I was able to figure out some of the other issues, but growing pains are real with this product and adding a shifter shouldn't take this much work. As for the PC, I am still disappointed that you have to use USB and I think having some sort of feedback for missed gear changes and grinding gears would have been a great addition.

As I mentioned, this was the most anticipated piece of my entire setup and it truly lives up to the expectations
4/5

It appears heavy and made of plenty of metal as advertised, so all in all, a good buy. I had no problem hooking up straight up and it worked without question. It would be good if the clamp would be strong enough on its own to eliminate the hard mount in Unlike the shift plate screws, the tension screw is different from just about everything else about my rig. Also unusual is that just about everything else has an allen screw, except the tension screw. Anyway, for how easily adjustable and accessible it is, I can live with that. One thing that I did have a problem with when I first bought it was that after the third day it would start to shift into different gears and stop registering at times then reconnect. I took it apart after I contacted Thrustmaster, looked at everything then reassembled it. After testing the product again, everything seemed to be fine. However, it is possible that something could have come loose and caused the same issue again like the ground, so I can't give this one star. I am not able to find a stock shifter, and the knobs don't appear to fit. As for shift knobs, I see aftermarket knobs will work, but I cannot find a stock shifter that fits. The grooves were just swept over by all of them.

An example of a simulated There is a shifting of patterns
4/5

It was a gift I received from my father, a Thrustmaster T300. This shift involves shifts in pattern). The robust design of the product (nearly unheard of these days) and ease at which it would connect with the T300 and simulation software wowed me. While the shifter was great for sequential shifting, when I started using the H-shifters, it became problematic The shifter has a pattern shifter, which disappointed me. The fault lies with the design, not the product. It was unwise for me to place such high expectations on my performance. My whole driving experience has been with manual transmissions, and I have touched most vehicles in my life so far There are 3 speeds, 4 speeds, 5 speeds, as well as 9, 12 and 15 speeds for heavy duty trucks and tractor-trailers. A trailer. One thing all of these configurations had in common was My feet, hands, and ears were able to feel and hear the actual shifting of weight. With this system, there are smooth shifts (no clutch in big rigs), or fast shifts (double clutch), or (in performance cars) both at the same time. In the TH8A, however, this is not allowed. There's just no way to recreate the feeling of being there since there are no words that can describe it A human being with a human-like quality There is a shifting of patterns. The program accomplishes what it was meant to However, the simulation must be limited to the limits of electronics and electrics You can control how gear shifting is done by turning off the switches. The H- seems to work for me Adapting to the low horsepower standard cars in the driving simulation requires shifting, but only if they have a manual transmission. The following are reasons why I recommend In short, yes. In addition to providing a good sequential shifter (for those who prefer paddle shifters rather than a stick on the steering wheel), it also simulates the shifting of slow, low horsepower cars adequately.
